Dictionary says it is a sharp insult ..

Angad had the benefit of this sharp insult in the beginning of the show itself and what was the consequence ....did the slap act as an deterrent to Angad ,No it provoked him enough to
destroy her life ,make her family miserable, Pratigya's placid, well ordered life was thrown into turmoil , she had to marry a guy who was totally incompatible to her ,had to bear many abuses ...In short she lost her happiness,contentment ..

And still she has not learned her lesson,

She goes and gives a second Slap and now she has been promised that her sister will be destroyed ....So what was the point in slapping,has it stopped Angad from his destructive acts, No it has goaded him further in his heinous acts...When Pratigya knows that Slap does not inhibit but provokes this animal,why indulge in it ..would not a threat of Krishna taking a hand in this be more effective ..what does she want ? for the disaster to stop or to be completely annihilated ...

And don't give me the BS that any Human would do the same ....there were 4 other Humans in that room and they were controlling themselves ...and also it has been tom tom'ed that Pratigya is a educated , thinking and intelligent girl ...and for a thinking , intelligent girl, she has shown a remarkable absence of both the virtues so far...,for neither has she thought out the fact that her Slap in the train initiated this consequences ,,,nor has she realized that Angad has got nothing to lose whereas she and her family have got everything to lose and she has no god given right to plunge both the houses into a calamity of her doing ...and so a more circumspect action was needed and not this hasty, Impulsive act [ which is more in line with Krishna's way of thinking ]

I personally think she should have gone on in her controlled and calm way [the way the scene was started] and given him a dressing down of his life ...and made it clear to him ..she is letting him go this time..but any more hanky-panky...then he will be dealing with Krishna Singh and not her !!...That would have given him a food for thought ?

the slap reminds angad of his place, this is the 2nd slap and i hope many more come.
