Ranveer Singh will make a better host than Ranbir Kapoor, say fans

The Gunday actor beats the Besharam star to be voted as best host this awards season

Ranbir Kapoor and Ranveer Singh's Bollywood face off is yet to happen, but with both actors turning hosts this award season there were bound to be comparisons between the two. We quizzed BollywoodLifers about who would make the best host- Ranveer or Ranbir and here's what fans thought...Last year has certainly upped Mr Sigh's stake in B-town, while he had two releases that did very well both commercially and in the box office - Lootera and Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram-Leela, Mr Kapoor had one hit and one miss - Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani and Besharam. Not to forget both these budding superstars' love lives grabbed headlines. Ranveer and his alleged love Deepika Padukone's on and off screen chemistry became the talk of the town and Ranbir and Katrina Kaif's Spain holiday pictures got the industry talking.

And with both the actors donning the host's avatar we certainly are keen to find out who fares better. Both Ranveer and Ranbir will be hosting their respective award shows for the second time. While RS will host India's own Grammy - GIMA, Ranbir will co-host the 59th Filmfare awards this year along with his Barfi! co-star Priyanka Chopra. Readers of BollywoodLife have voted Ranveer as a better host - Ranveer got 69% votes (115), while Ranbir managed a mere 31% votes. (51)

We're sure the Gunday actor will be delighted with this new victory. Considering that he has been snubbed at all major awards this might just bring a broad grin on the super energetic hero's face,

This is one department Ranveer surely wins over Ranbir for Ranbir's previous Filmfare hostings cradled me to sleep

I agree Ranbir is boring host

Charming guys make amazing hosts. SRK, Saif, Ranveer, Farhan are all charmers. Ritesh and Irani are cheeky..they make funny hosts..but not charming.

As much as I love Ranveer, Ranbir would actually make a better host. Ranveer gets all nervous and weird when he's hosting. Watch him hosting with Anushka at Star Screen Awards if you don't believe me...

Parko..Off late his confidence has seemed to soar. I used to notice how awkward he would be in his interviews too...but hes getting better now. Finding the right words and he seems more sure of himself now.
