He keeps feeding the villagers his "version" of reality and like fox-news viewers, they keep buying into it, because it reinforces their own historical experiences, however manipulated their experiences have been, thanks to Thakur Sa himself.
But I find the Thakur's character most interesting, because for one thing, he really looks like a king. The actor playing him is just awesome, so tall and handsome with an air of royalty about him. He can silence his minions with just one look!
I just love his clothes, - the jewels, the turbans, the coats . He even looks good in the color purple! 😆
I thought the outfit he wore at the wedding was his best so far! That jeweled collar was the crowning piece.

But the one thing that made me shudder was his complete lack of any emotion when Bindi was eaten by the croc. No emotion flickered across his face at all. Poor direction maybe?

I hope we see lots of him in the coming episodes. I am afraid when they stop shooting on location, we won't get to see him in his palace😭

I was just thinking the same!! They've pcicked such a good actor for the takur cuz he really does look and speak like royalty! He is handsome, dresses amazingly, he's got that jolly, but also sinister touch and has the king like presense too! Hope the creatives keep him.

Thakursa provides the villagers with a lot of support, with the weddings, etc. I am sure he does more to keep the villagers indebted to him as well.
And he was the royal ruler of the land till they (whoever) took it away, and he became an ordidnary citizen with wealth

But he still has that air of royalty. The wealth is still there. The power is still there. I am guessing he is well educated as well.

Also, his good looks help a lot 😉

LOL at the fox news analogy. Though, it is very apt. Thakur sa is definitely a sociopath. He is charismatic, has a grandiose sense of self, manipulative but lacks empathy, is callous, a pathological liar. Infact, he is extremely dangerous because he is smart and cunning and putting out such a benevolent facade in front of poor, uneducated villagers. It makes him an interesting villain for sure.

😆 Fox news analogy !
Thakur Sa is a lethal adversary. He hasa commanding presence , behaves like the royalty he used to be and quite dashing too.😊
