Chapter 3

Introduction << Previous Chapter<<Chapter 2

Yash is greeted by his lovely daughter... "daddy..! why didn't you wait for me for the desert?? And why do all your employees know our secrets? " she complains putting her pouty face.

Daddy dearest never liked that pout on his pretty daughter's face..

Never mind, I'll have another with you.. do you have any pb with that?' he says

Absolutely not!' a wide grin graces her face. The father - daughter enjoy the dessert.

Yash yet again wins the best businessman of the year... at the success party where many business tycoons come to convey their congrats to the man.. Jay gets to meet many influential people.. who may have been behind the curtains but had done a great deal of hard work on the success of their own ventures. He was glad and humbles to meet such legends.

And then... Neil and Jay officially meet at the party, Seeing Jay be a potential threat to his son's position in Yash's eye, RP feels insecure and flaunts Neil's success to demoralize Jay. But this guy, Jay, never gets put down by such criticisms, as he has learnt that success doesn't come in day - it takes a life time for some and a while a few hard working ones. He has faith in destiny and confidence of the self and most importantly patience to wait for it.

He'll sooner or later see himself successful and these very people, who cared a dam about him, would know who he is, what he is capable of.

Yash, after that eventful party comes back to his office on called in by one of his close friend and solicitor- Fahim Ahmed Khan; who informs Yash that his funds are being tampered and though it was tough for anyone to get to the root of the issue alone, he finds out that his most trusted partners is the cause of this issue..

'How could he, out of all people do this to me..' Yash seeing the proof.. thinking of it all the while.. his forehead sweats.. the issue would be going to a very large extant.. its gonna only spread like an infection and ruin everything he made.

Thinking all this over and over again.. Yash feels uneasiness and difficulty in breathing.. It was later discovered by Fahim, that Yash is suffering a heart attack. Tara freaks out after getting the news and rushes to the hospital; she learns that Yash just suffered a mild heart attack.

RP brightens up hearing the news and asks Neil to be there for him and he does too. Jay gets to know about this, he rushes to the hospital too.. after a few hours, everyone is relieved to know that Yash is stable and doing well now..

Tara attends to the press, informing them that her dad is fine now.. still she feels shaken to the core, by the fact that her strong daddy too gets weak.. the worst feeling she had was she had to see him helpless... lying there..

She leans to the wall at a corner where nobody saw her and cries bitter.. Jay observes this.. he moves to her.. putting his hand hesitantly on her shoulder 'he is fine- its ok for him to fall sick and weak..'

Turning her towards him he continues.. with a husky tone 'there is nothing we could have done, really.. now wipe your tears, he never liked them.. ' still, her tears flow continuously; hmh.. tears, I don't know why they don't listen to me.' She utters wiping them off her face.

A gentle curve forms on the edge of their lips... his eyes holds hers saying her to just calm down and have faith.

Yash feels touched to see Neil, Jay and Tara around every time he opened his eyes. They wake for nights if Yash needs anything.. they make sure to be by his side always and give him medicine, water, food and care.

Jay walks in the hospital hall way, he was never a clumsy walker.. but he bumps into a doctor.. "Ouch" she screams.. "I am sorry ma am.. didn't see you coming" was his instant reply..

'That is the most cliche excuse one would give..' she stands fixing herself..

"YOU!" she shouts... her eyes widen seeing Jay.. Jay realizes that he has bumped into the wrong person..

Before he could utter a thing she starts her rant "You, Not again.. aaj kya todna hai.. ?"

Jay puts an abashed look... and utters 'It was an emergency and I did pay for all that.. didn't I?' she was in no mood to hear his justification...'

'That is NOT the way that one is supposed to.. behave..' her voice fades as she see a familiar face coming her way.. the doctor hides herself behind a brawny Jay. He thanks his stars that it was the last stay at the hospital as they are gonna discharge Yash soon. She sees the person walk pass them..and not observe her, thanks to this hunk..

Jay feels all this hide and seek business pretty weird.. why was she hiding from the person in her own hospital.. when Jay asks the reason and offers help for what ever the reason she has for doing so.. she refuses it to and asks him to be careful the next time.

Yash sees Jay be the reassurance to Tara all the while, even Neil was there but not always, as he had to be there for the company issues.

But the one thing which he feels has made him better is a thoughtful Jay, its he who stays by Yash even in the time of his recovery and of course his daughter..

It took him a week and a half to recover completely.

When Yash comes back, with Jay help him get home... he asks him to continue with his work as he is fine.

Jay feels relieved to see Yash fine and asks for his leave.

Tara n Neil continue their work at the office.. Neil tries to pacify her as a friend. She feels she is taken good care of by her nears ones when in time of need. While RP cursed Yash at first for the sudden heart attack which ruined his plan of sending Tara and Neil for a field trip, he was equally gladdened to see Tara and Neil near with the new development...

PRECAP:

Its your birthday dad.. why do you want me to cancel all the preparations I made?

Tara and Yash proceed to the latter's chosen destination.

"I HATE this guy!!" she fumes at his constant take on her.

I can imagine Viraf riding one in real 😆

@Bullet... oh I always see my heros who are kinda roughed in bullet..umm actually Harley Davidson..but that's quite expensive for a budding businessman as Jay!😆 so settled on bullet.. will surely give u one romantic scene on that.
