After watching yesterdays episode, i want to bang my head somewhere...

Why they are telling/making samrat a villain or criminal?

Even though he dont like rasam, he accepted to do it when they complied him... Didnt he??

Even he told urmi need rest too, after three days of rasams.. No one told to tell so... But he did

Ok i know he is not romantic and straight forward... So what..It seems he is only earning member in his family... I have seen many people like him who are almost like samrat...

He didnt lie, he didnt act sweet, he is like this only from beginning to everyone..

I can understand urmi bcoz he is opposite of her imagination or image she created in her mind bcoz of her family n ishaan.. She will need some time to understand him.. I can understand her feeling ( i wont accept bucket of tears)...

But Trisha.. Seriously guys.. He commented on her dress and said to her that his life will go according his plan and this marriage will happen.. thats it.. forgive me if i missed like any other argument btw them..

Out there lot of people, have this opinion abt girls dress.. Even though i wont accept it... But it is the fact.. Jansi is small town.. there it is common...

In real, if someone misbehaved with u, u will just slap him with hand or slipper(depends) and walk away from there... or drag him by collar to police(extreme)... But we wont create scene in a road and by shouting and traffic ( its extreme)

If someone tries to stop my marriage before two days... I will try to make it possible by nook and crook ... He didnt follow any non-ethical way to solve it yaar...

If she said he is not suitable for soft urmi and they are polar opposite... Thats the fact

But telling he is not a good man... This marriage wont give anything except regret is some extreme and unnecessary words... But by seeing ishaan, she said he is good for urmi, did she had any interaction with ishaan before( i dont remember anything like that)..
If u ask me, ishaan only said many lies to urmi.. just bcoz he want her to marry his friend.. But I wont blame him.. Like mešŸ˜‰ ishaan also thinks that samrat need to change n urmi can change him

Its my opinion, samrat is indifferent, not upto urmi's expectation... But in reality noone get wat they dreamt of.. Everyone have to comprise.. She will learn it and make him to learn...

If there are gng to make it like some 80s picture.. Like she cried.. cried and cried... Sorry to say it is 2014 now... No one will like it...

Its my opinion abt this track... Sorry if i have hurted anyone feeling

I already banged my head šŸ˜†

I feel Samrat's character is supposed to be the angry young man type, but they went overboard like they broke the anger machine or something

the character of samrat before wedding was not negative .he was a typical self made workholic man with a lot of ego .he was used to get what he wants by hook or crook .thats his character .

but on wedding day he was just opposite of his character with his socalled drunk friends .when his friends misbehaved with his saali he didnt even respond .and the bachelor party put some light on his morals .i havnt seen a dailysoap hero dancing like this before on his bachelor party.

on wedding day he looked more like villain than hero

I agree with the drunk friends part, not the bachelor party part. They didn't make it a big deal, and as proof that it wasn't a big deal, Ishaan had no objections and joined and was cheering Samrat on. There was only one thing that was unnecessary in that sequence imo, the move with the chaavi.

@TM, I agree that his not wanting to do rasams does not make him a bad guy. Whenever they show the family's, Ishaan's and urmi's faces, I just feel like rolling my eyes. If he doesn't want to do it, he doesn't want to do it. It doesn't make him a big bad dude.

However, he has ideas and views which Urmi didn't know going in. She had enough clues, and she's seen his ego first hand, but still she didn't know what she was getting into because of Ishaan. And Ishaan is not right. Just because Ishaan feels Urmi can change him, doesn't mean he has the right to lead a unknowing girl into the marriage.

That thinking is regressive and outright dangerous. In society, it's the same thought where people get their horrible sons married off to naive wives, with the hope that the son will just settle down with the wife's influence.

Ishaan has no right to take that decision and create a false image and impression of Samrat for Urmi and her family. I know, that other than at the wedding when he was asked outright, that he never did it intentionally but still it is NOT okay. Sad thing is, his idea and view will be validated.

It is not some girl's job to "change" Samrat. If she completely knew what she was in for, that's one thing. But that's not the case with Urmi. And why should the girl have to go through such a situation so she can "change" her husband. She could've found some other match with a guy that's more emotionally available other than having to deal with such a husband for however long before he ultimately "changes."

About Trisha, no that is not all that happened between her and Samrat. Trisha never tried to stop Samrat and Urmi's marriage. Please show me where that happened. She told Urmi about her encounter with Samrat and her opinion of him, Urmi confronted Samrat, and Urmi brushed it off. Trisha never tried to do anything.

It was Samrat himself who called off the marriage, and Trisha only gave an answer unlike her family who were busy demeaning themselves and begging for solutions. Unfortunately for Trisha, he is an egotist and he decided to go through with the wedding.

Still Trisha never tried to call it off. She attempted to tell Urmi of all that happened, but her mother forbid her. It was Urmi herself who called off the wedding due to Samrat's mother's demand. And Samrat because his ego was blinding him, rationalizes this by blaming it on Trisha. That's his own egotistical fault. A decent man would understand and be proud of Urmi, but no he couldn't bring himself to think about what it meant that Urmi called off the wedding without telling her family. So he blames Trisha.

And from blaming Trisha, he proceeds to humiliate her and show her up on stage in the Sangeet. His demeaning act was just that...demeaning. And he did it for what, his ego? His need to humiliate Trisha? Who knows. He had no right to do what he did, and what's more he blamed her for leaving the stage when he knows exactly why she left. His ego drives him, and he sees nothing else.

As for Trisha's reaction to the guys, yeah, she should go up to the three men and slap them, instead of replying to them. Really? Slapping wouldn't make a scene? They didn't touch her, they made comments on her. She has the right to tell them off. She is not the one who created a scene, it's the crowd who felt like gathering. They didn't care to gather when the guys were harassing a girl, but when she started giving it back to them, they gathered.

Samrat's words to Trisha told Trisha that he is not the type of man which will be a good fit for Urmi. Samrat's subsequent actions, behavior and words confirmed it for Trisha. And Trisha is absolutely right, Samrat is wrong for Urmi. The proof is in the fact that Ishaan had to hide, lie and smooth things over. The proof is in the fact that Urmi went in with different expectations. Proof is int he fact that Urmi will be unhappy in the first few months? of her marriage.

Had Urmi and her family known full picture, perhaps they wouldn't have agreed or continued on with the marriage.

And Urmi's family are also at fault for not allowing to Urmi to know of Samrat's calling off the wedding. She had a right to know, she deserved to know.
