All her concern for Meenu. All her so called show of happiness at Anup's comeback are fake.

Sanchi sr., aka Irawati Shekhar, is selfish and attention seeker to the core. Totally insecure.

Shiv's paying attention to Anup, his mannerisms being similar to Anup's, his even listening to Anup or the latter suggesting Shiv (like he did to pack breakfast today) are all pinching this Ira.

She smiled when Shiv ignored Anup's suggestion and sat to have breakfast. Smiled even more when Shiv said he won't be able to accompany Anup to places associated with his memories. 🤢

In precap also she had constipated look and rather seemed to be forcing herself to smile when Anup declared he regained his memories. 🤢

It's a shame she is so selfish and insecure and is struggling to show even basic courtesy (atleast out of gratitude for what Meenu did for her). Meenu had such a big heart and bore so much for years. Whereas this Ira can't tolerate even minor adjustments.

Ira seems to be seething at Meenu's happiness and her regaining whatever she had lost.

Not that she doesn't have her own child. But this seems more of an insecurity at not having her own SON and her kid not being the ELDEST offspring of the family.

There is NO doubt who Sanchi takes after. Ira's disgusting and she will make things more difficult to handle for Shiv also. She seems so used to getting lion's share of attention that she can't even make adjustments for a person who's reunited with his own biological family after 25 freakin' years!!

Thodi sharam bhi nahi hai.

I for one, support Ira's reactions.
It is not easy for someone in Ira's position to be "happy happy happy" and syrupy sweet.

She intellectually knows what is the right thing to do, which is why she patched fences with Meenu ...but emotionally she has not been able to get over the betrayal and the resultant insecurity.

I applaud Ira for struggling to put her wisdom over her feelings.

A lot of people would just allow their feelings to dominate them and not put on a cork.

I won't say that Ira is fake... or that she is saanchi sr.

Saanchi has a lot of malicious intent for no good reasons.

Ira on the other hand knows the right thing, and is struggling to do the right thing even if she hasn't fully come to grips with it. I take it as strength of character.

@Tinoo

I agree with you but only partly. I am unable to give any points to Ira because she shares her insecurities with Sanchi and lets her exploit those too. Her conversation with Sanchi after dinner table incident in last episode was no sign of wisdom.

And Anup's yet to be told Shiv's truth but Ira's already making faces at his sight and his gaining back memories or behaving like a regular family member.

I didn't even see basic respect or affection of a bhabhi in this woman since Anup returned.

This is why I don't feel like giving her benefit of doubt or sympathies.

It's a shame Shiv's having to deliberately appease Ira. He has decided not to call Anup as papa. He gets his food packed in general too. But Ira's burning especially only now!

If that young one is trying to balance among all then Ira should help him instead of testing him and making him walk on a tightrope with her insecure behaviour.

I am still confused about what to say about Ira...she is mentally unstable woman so i have never really expected from her to be really good...what i didn't like today was why should Shiv change his habits becoz it matches Anup who happens to be his father...Shiv had always been serious with work and i don't see any reason for him to change his habits to just please Ira...i find BV elders very immature...most of the time youngers do all the adjustment and these elders try to get their way by hook or crook...for now i am ok with what Shiv did today..in fact i applaud him for his maturity but if this all continues and there is no adjustment from Ira's side than i feel Shiv need not please anyone but live the life the way he used to live before all this drama...if Meenu can accpet Shiv to pack his food and go to office if in hurry than why is Ira never able to accomadate accoridng to Shiv's need...i feel Ira is very flimsy mother who really doesn't know much about Shiv or never has truely paid much attention to him

I don't think her concern for Meenu and Anop and the family is fake. But she is someone who cannot overcome her issues and see the larger picture.
She is trying not to get affected by all these issues but not successful.
Today at breakfast she was more interested in Shiv's reaction rather than making sure he had his food.
Had she really been concerned about him what stopped her from packing food For him?She could have said that before Anop said.
Same way she ma be for Meenu but maynnot belooking forward to Anop's reaction whenhhe learns thettruth.
She knows what is right but she doesn't have the strength andcourage to saccept the truth and move on in life

Ira is not a robot, but a human being not so saintly but normal. What she is going thru is
Understandable. It is like some one giving you something and when you start loving it, snatching it
Away. I would feel exactly the same way. Lot of us on the board would behave more like her too.
People with normal short comings under duress are bashed so much.

My main issue with Ira is that she is not even treating Anup as a family member! Not even humane concern for him. She is only eyeing him from a distance and gauging reactions of family.

I can empathise with her insecurity if matters related to telling truths to Anup are brought up. But the way she behaved even initially was very selfish and callous.

All she seems concerned about is her own position in the family.

Today's episode was really nice except for the rubbish in jaitsar which is not even worthy of a discussion or debate. ..yawn ..🥱🥱

Dont know whether anandi fell into water accidentally or she jumped into it, but that scene was very nice... Anandi seems to be an expert in underwater swimming.😉 Anup regaining his memory was simply superb.

But I am surprised all that people had to grumble about was Ira who was in the episode for not more than 1 min. She is human after all. And her struggle with herself in accepting her present circumstances for which she is not at all responsible is being portrayed very nicely... Excellent job director. 👍🏼

Regarding the new woman who came to handover her resignation to Singhs, I hope there is no tragedy behind it which makhan kaka will solve... yawn ...🥱🥱

@Shinya

Ira's part is the only one worth debating. CVs tried to create suspense around Pichaula lake incident but it turned out to be predictable despite CVs covering up Meenu's talk with Mahi and Anandi with BGM. Whether Anandi jumped or fell, whether she knew how to swim or not - nothing was clear. Why Mahi himself did not jump out and what he wanted to accomplish by standing in boat with outstretched arms is again unclear. It was all stupid actually. Foolish filmy solution suggested by Jagya and that too after conversation with Basant! Ha!🤪

The Shiv and family scenes and precap were worth a debate IMO.

Anup recognised Meenu. But how did he instantly say Tum mere bete ho to Mahi without being prompted? As if he knew Mahi's looks and recognised him from past itself!

Anup plays saxophone for family. Shiv plays dhol around Anandi. Where is the similarity? Ira should take relief in this dissimilarity!😛

I had not remarked on Ira's behaviour in last 2 episodes either. So made a combo topic.
