When you say Indian shows there is only one show that comes to my mind which is the best show I have seen so far..it has burning chemistry,romance,comedy and some very substantial characters..nobody will regret watching that show ..Its a 4 Lion's production as well and the most finest one.."Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon"..try it..Geet was good but only a part of it

KMH season 1 is romantic but a little serious and tragic
KMH season 2 is funny and romantic (I think this is perfect for you)
DMG is funny and romantic if you haven't watched it already (another perfect one for what you described)
Tere Liye is a sweet show, I really enjoyed it
Punar Vivah ZMD is romantic, but on the serious side, but it was a very well written and beautiful show, a little more leaning towards social issues.
Tumhari Pakhi is a really good show that's on air right now, very realistic and how Indian TV should be in my opinion
Geet is funny/romantic, but it has no logic
KDMHMD - serious but really romantic
YHM is a good show but not really funny, and not romantic yet. It's more drama centered.

There are probably more, but this list should be enough for now haha.
