Sri Lanka: a team to reckon with..

Sri Lanka has shown in this world cup that they are perhaps the best bowling side ..with two of its bowlers who can give tough time to any body at any pitch i.e Murali and Malinga..

There fielding side if not the best is perhaps among the top two or three teams..And they don't lack in batting either..

If any body can give really tough challenge to Australia, it is probably going to be Sri lanka..

What are your thoughts on Sri Lanka team..

Agree wid you on bowling and feilding. BUT Sri Lanka's batting order is nothing without Sanath Jaysuriyah..

thats not true... sangakara and jayawardena have just not clicked as to the expectations, even though jayawardena did play very well today!... but they have variety, and their batting doz not all depend upon sanath.... and then dilshan, arnold, and silva also cum in great handy once they click... but being the most senior and experienced sanath contributes sensibly and thats wat he did today under pressure, but that doz not mean they r weak widout him!

i think SL is one team that can really give the aussies a great battle... they r really climbing towards the peaks of success and thats cuz they work extremely hard and that too as a unit! their fielding has been so great that they r now being compared to the likes of SA and the Aussies! and i must say their bowling attack is so superb, especially Malinga's bowling!👏... hes really got talent, and hes been SL's real truimph card! their wicket keeper, Sangakara, is so brilliant and intelligent, i wud rate him as one of the most intelligent wicket keepers in cricket ryt now, did u see how he got lara out!... he was brilliant... and on top of that, they r very supportive towards one another,....... not to add, their captain is always at his feet... everybody contributes in that team, and thats wat make them very great contenders for the WC!... i hope they keep on playing like this, cuz they deserve to go into the semi finals and then even the finals, if they keep it up! i really see a desire for winning in this team .......... SL is really playing very brilliantly! 👏👏👏

Tharanga is also good at batting tho he hasn't shown his colours much this time. I have no say on Sangakkara, as his performance has been horriffic during the whole WC-I don't know what has got into him. Muralitharan's bowling is also really good-he helped save SL's match with India. Malinga has been terriffic all through-he was awesome and nearly saved the match with SA too.
