Abhishek Bachchan has Kareena Kapoor replaced with Ash in Karan Johar's next production. Apparently he still doesn't want to work with ex-flame Karisma's family

Abhishek Bachchan obviously hasn't quite acquired that comfortable level of detached calm when it comes to ex-flame Karisma Kapoor. We've heard that he still doesn't want to have anything to do with her and, by proxy, her family either.

Right now, her 'family' in the film industry refers to sister Kareena Kapoor, the actress he debuted with, in Refugee. Very reliable sources tell us that Abhishek doesn't want to work with Kareena, even today. And that he dug in his heels and made his stance very clear to director Tarun Mansukhani when Tarun planned a cast of Abhishek, Kareena and Saif Ali Khan for his next, the yet untitled film he's making for producer Karan Johar.

"The result was pretty simple. Kareena was quietly removed from the picture and Abhishek's fiance Aishwarya Rai was pencilled into the cast. The problem was solved immediately and all was well," says our source.

Incidentally, this is not the first time that Abhishek has tried to avoid sharing screen space with Kareena. A couple of years ago too, during the making of Mani Ratnam's Yuva, Abhishek had requested that he be spared from being paired with Kareena. So, although the original cast read Abhishek-Kareena and Vivek-Rani, the names were shuffled later. And Rani Mukherji ended up opposite Abhishek and Kareena was paired with Vivek Oberoi.

Evidently, nothing has changed in these last two years. Abhishek is still avoiding anyone close to Karisma Kapoor. And Kareena is still bearing the brunt of her sister's failed relationship

Why is abhishek punishing kareena for what Karishma did? Another movie with Ash? That's a bad punishment. How will he feel if someone treat him to the mistake he never commit? 🤢

Ok why is there sooooooooooooooooo many Abi/Aish movies.... i am its great that they are getting married and everything but why do they have to be such chipkoos and do all the movies togather....i am sorry but this one jodi that i really dont want to see numerous time in films...cauz eventually ppl are gonna get bored of them and even if they do a movie that has a really good story..it may end up flopping since ppl will not want to see them over and over agin onscreen

I agree, this isn't fair. Just because Kareena is his ex-fiance's sister, you can't work w/ her. Your working w/ her sister not HER! This is def not fair. I heard Kareena was signed BEFORE Abhi..and now Kareena is kicked out because Abhi didn't want her in there! This is not fair, and then replaced by who? Ash? again? wow, now this jodi is getting on my nerves!

i think they r better off together in reality and not in films... this cpouple is getting tiring and boring, and plus they dont have superb on screen chemistry either, where one wud love to see them again and again! 😕 i wud rather like to see kareena and abhishek together for a change, instead of the same ash and abhi pair, ppl will get tired of seeing them together onscreen!

i say karan should bring kareena and vivek together. now a day abhishek is having attitude that he only interested working more with ash, which is so boring and you never know audience will feel that way as well. I hope karan will sign kareena, she doesn't deserve garbage from abhishek. 🤢

Ash and Abhi as an onscreen pair are getting pretty passe.For starters,they dont share much of chemistry.Secondly,they dont "LOOK" great together.To cap it all,an overkill of anything leaves a bad taste in the mouth,and ALL of Ash's forthcoming films barring Jodhaa Akbar are with Abhishek(Sarkarr 2,Karan Johar's film,Raaste).Abhishek looks much better with Rani and Priyanka onscreen.I would want to see Ash and Abhi pairing with actors whom they have never paired with before.Ash and Saif,Ash and John etcetera.There is no dearth of fresh actresses whom Abhishek can pair up with.

About Kareena being kicked out,well Karan is a very loyal friend,and thus he cajoled and coaxed Adi Chopra into signing Kareena for a Yashraj film Tashan where she pairs opposite Akshay Kumar and Saif .And Kareena didnt lose anything by not pairing up with Abhishek,because Tashan is a bigger budget film, a racy action film,and definitely seems more interesting than a Karan Johar film

Watch the film flop now. 😃
I think Kareena and Abhishek's pairing would be better. Usually its better for off screen couples to act with other actors. Just my view! 😃

Don't worry, a line of flops will bring Abhishek back to Earth.
