deepika used to be....

A terrible actress earlier. I watched bachna ae haseeno and love aaj kal, she acted really bad in them movies. But she's transformed and grown into a wonderful actress. I'm amazed at her growth, usually actresses who can't act tend to stay bad. Actresses like Priyanka, kareena, kangana, always could act from their first movie so not a surprise. But Deepika was actually quite shit to begin with lol I think she deserved the party since she's made a HUUUGE improvement!

I quite liked her in OSO...esp in the end, the scene were Shanti looks at Om with tears in her eyes but smiling b4 she disappears...

I actually liked her in OSO to be honest, she acted nice in both Shanti & Sandy character, I think all actresses & actors have bad films in there filmography it can easily be forgiven.

In OSO she was good even I liked her there. But after that she was really bad Bachna ae haseeno, LAK that movie with abhishek and yes and break ke baad as well. Yeah Kareena did overact but she was still someone who could act and had a good screen presence, deepika has vastly improved by a clear mile. Post cocktail she really has come into her own.

I know right, Deepika was terrible in OSO and BAH. But her improvement isn't surprising, she's been getting better and better since Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Say and Aarakshan. Cocktail was like the final nail in the coffin, that's when people realised, oh hey this girl can act now. With YJHD, Chennai Express and Ram Leela, she's told off all her remaining detractors that didn't quite like her performance in Cocktail. 🥳

I guess TS is new to bollywood and hasn't seen mujhse dosti karoge and mpkdh and andaaz and blackmail and asambhav and kangana? Kangana initially only got movies where she had to play psycho...

Kareena yes she overacted in some movies but she could still act atleast, she did not overact in all her movies. For example: Refugee, Asoka, k3g she proved that she can actually act well. Priyanka: The Hero was her first movie, she acted well in the movie despite having a small role, in Andaaz she was good, not brilliant but good, In Aitraaz she was brilliant! Kangana: i don't know about you but i thought she was very good in Gangster and in Woh Lamhe she was mindblowing. No other actress could have pulled off a character like that in their second movie! Kangana did not get good offers but she the offers she did get i.e. Woh Lamhe, Fashion she got to play challenging/interesting characters which very few actresses can pull off. What i am trying to say is that these actresses were not bland and wooden, yes they had flaws but they could act. Whereas Deepika for me was quite bland apart from OSO. Deepika has improved immensely. She really has mastered her acting skills over the past year or so. My point is that those actresses who were bad at acting remained bad, but with Deepika its a different story.

i loved her in oso i thought she was really good in it. so this transformation and her success doesnt surprise me a bit. as for bebo god her good acting is a few and fair btw she over acts in most of her films. u watch 1 performance of hers and nevr have to watch her again.

I didnt her acting in some of her first few movies, like BAH, BKB and LAK. She couldn't emote and and her voice was so inexpressive.
