Who said Kiran was not 'negative'

I remember lots of people used to initally say that Kiran is not negative, is doing all that she did because of her love for Abhi, blah, blah, blah, blah. I never could understand or buy that argument, because to begin with, she CHOSE to throw herself on a married man knowing fully well he was married.. Agreed Abhi was to blame too but Kiran was equally to blame and can never be forgiven for breaking a home.. There was a survey in a magazine that I read where the author asked different people reasons for men straying. He wrote at the end that in the course of talking to so many people on this topic, he once posed the same question to a lady passenger on a flight.....who is to blame more in such a situation, the man or the other woman ? The lady replied very promptly...the other woman. This guy was a bit surprised. The lady justifies saying if women didn't go around throwing themselves at married men, why would they stray? I thought she was right. Women are to blame more, esp. if they fail to understand the feelings of another woman. Same holds true if the situation is reversed and a woman strays. I would blame the other man!!

Kiran of course has become way way too negative right now and there is no denying that. But somehow I am not surprised since I had never found her character positive anyway. It is one thing to feel attracted towards a married person, another to act on it and break up a home.

I am sorry, I do not agree to the fact that if a lady throws herself at a married woman,he succumbs to it and entertain her. Agreed men are more likely to get involved with the other woman then the women folk. I would blame both parties equally and if situation warrants it then the spouse of the strayed husband too.
In case of Abhi and Kiran, I hold both parties responsible. Kiran was available. Abhi succumbed, but he continued the damn thing. Why did he not have the commitment to his marriage. He could have divorced Simran and continued his relationship with Kiran.

I did not say that Abhi was not responsble for that. He certainly was! But I do not buy this talk which I keep hearing from many others about "Oh, but Kiran was in love with ABhi, blah, blah,, blah, blah," etc. No way. She was as responsble for it and I have no sympathy for her. My point all along has been that she is as responsible for it as he was. Some people say SHe wsas not married, etc.. So, what. She was intefering in a married man's life and that was bad. Yes, and it is surprising that she could not understand another woman's feelings. Sorry, no sympathies towards her and yes, Abhi was no great shakes either at that time.

A very good topic indeed!!

As you all have said, i feel both Abhi and Kiran were equally responsible for this mis-act. Abhi was very immature, (same juncture in life as Astha is in today). He never knew what was right and wrong. He first fell for Simran from the very first moment, married her against all odds. Then, for the simple reason that he wanted physical satisfaction, he went to Kiran. How awful!!! I always believe "Thaali Ek Haath se Nahin Bajta". So both Abhi and Kiran were responsible for ruining their life.....

I would say Abhi had Lady Luck smiling at him always, he had the pleasur and satisfaction of being with 3 ladies in his life. He got back what he had lost in life eventually.....No other man would have been able to get back all the happiness that Abhi is having today, after committing such mistakes, that too, time and again.!!!!

LOL. Funny, but true! He certainly had lady luck smiling at him:-) So many women falling for him. He of course realized his mistakes at a wrong time and took the wrong decision of leaving the wrong woman (Simran) at the wrong time.

I guess the reason I brought up this topic was because there have been many people I know have been Kiran sympathizers and have felt that she is hardly to blame (though she threw herself on a married man). Their reasoning is that she fell in love, etc., etc., she was unmarried, blah, blah. Somehow I don't buy the argument. Granted she fell in love or felt attracted towards a married man, but anyone with some conscience (which I think Kiran lacks anyway) would have thought twice before acting on their desires and starting and carrying on this relationship the way she did and having no qualms in breaking a person's home..I have put myself in her shoes and often wondered how I would have reacted had I been attracted towards a married person. Certainly not behaved the way that Kiran has done, no way. And deleting her SMS messages, plotting with Mrs. Saxena to malign Simran and poison Abhi, ufff. Sympathy for Kiran, no way..She was involved with a married man, that was bad enough without adding more to it, which she did anyway..

Was Kiran with the same man (Anil Shourie) for 18+ years? Then she certianly must possess some positive characteristics. Physical? Most certainly yes! Character? Maybe not, from what glimpses we have been shown (she was 'missing', that is, no flashbacks, for 18 years). Or was Anil himself straying? Ha ha, nice tanget!

Raises another question: If Abhi had disappeared from the scene, and from her life, what kept the embers of revenge alive in Kiran? Is it directorial license by Ajai Sinha, at our expense? She could have got back at Simran any time during the 18 odd years ....

As far as cheating goes, both parties are equally responsible, but the woman has more power in both cases.

A woman has more self control and where as everyone knows that generally speaking a man just needs an opportunity to give in to his weekness. So woman know this and take advantage of that.

All a man needs is an opportunity and they get week.

Thanks

Ajai Sinha could not think of how else he could have gotten the story moving... He is taking us for a royal ride we unfortunately are riding this, either by watching, or reading updates or participating in discussions....😭
