He might just care coz she's kamla bai daughter...I dont think its all about love...I think he doesnt even see her as a prospective love...

For now he cares for kalpi and has sympathy for her but he does not love as for know he tries to be rude bcoz he belives kalpi can face big problems herself as she is kamla daughter
