I want to know what kaka means by his statement - Mj is kalyug ka ram. We all know who is Ram, but what aspect of ram did Kaka mean?
1. The one who loved Sita, but let her leave him?

.2. The one who killed demons including Ravana?

3. The sacrificing son whose word was bond?

4. Visnu's avatar?

5. Someone willing to spend 14 years in exile?

6. All of the above?

7. Other?

Welcome to the forum Anjana. I guess this is your first individual post on the forum.
Coming to the topic I feel he gave this analogy because Ram's characters have high virtues & morals. First he was obedient son & loving & caring husband & brother. Though Ram's character had its own flaws Ram never betrayed anyone & never did injustice to anyone.

I would think 2, 3 & 5, they're sort of self explanatory as far as MJ's character is concerned.

I'd like to add something more here. Since their names are Mrityunjay & Tara & there is also a Rudra involved, I'm wondering why they had to throw in another God's name into the picture. MJ's get up with his wild hair & angry demeanor & Tara's spunky, Shaktidhari avatar were more than reminiscent of the Shiv Parvati analogy that was doing the rounds, where was the need to bring in Ram?

When Kaka likened MJ to Ram, did he mean what Anjana has outlined above or considering the mystery woman in kaka's house, did he mean that MJ is that woman's Ram?? By default that would mean the mystery woman is his Sita😕

Lord ram personifies the highest of Human Values, never deviating from the virtuous path in thought, or action, even in the direst of circumstances. His renouncing of the mighty throne of Ayodhya to keep the word of his father, his infinite love for his brothers and the unflagging love and respect for Kaikeyee, the mother who banished him to the jungles, establish the paramount of love, truth and sincerity.

MJ character matches very well with the description of Ram..
So, kaka meant MJ as a man of high Values!!!

Leena, if tht mystery woman ws Mjs Sita ...then he wud hv never married Tara
Ram nver married another woman, though he wsnt sure abt sita's existence ..

I thought of that. You are right but this is Kaka's interpretation of Ram & there is a mystery woman involved😕
Frankly I do think it is as the forum largely thinks, that he is Ram in the Maryada Purshotam sense, the ultimate man above reproach, I was just taken aback at his inclusion as he has no bearing on the Shiv Parvati story.

See, kaka knws Tara is Mjs wife..so if he's considering the mystery woman as Sita ...he wud nt Hve refered to MJ as ram in the first place...Here hs just meant MJ is a man of high values!
He ws answering to Tara's ques abt why kaka ws supporting MJ?
When it abt expressing someone as a man of high values ..I think Ram wud b appropriate thn Shiv,
Where shiv is knwn as Creator and destroyer! He has gentle & fierce forms!
