ur question abt real india has no definitive answer...its debatable... becos india is changing especially the lifestyles of ppl living in cities as opposed to those living in villages, where everything is still very traditional. when we say something is "real" we say its reality, the truth... and the life style in the city and village is different but the truth so both combined together is the real india...again this is debatable becos some might argue that the real india is the actually traditional village life as that's how its always been and that life in the city is not real india but an attempt to become more westernised and mix in with the western culture and not INDIAN culture.
paakhi not wearing the mini skirt is a matter of choice- she's not comfortable in wearing it becos she's not worn it. we are all hesitant abt wearing outfits we've never worn b4 and does take a while 2 get used 2 it. with paakhi it may also be the fact that she's a lot more traditional and not so westernised and prefers her traditional outfits...its not a matter of looking down upon the city lifestyles, its jus that its a lifestyle which isn't meant for her...or is one that she cant relate to.
