TOI: 'Sharing birthday with Dilip Kumar is a blessing'

Actor Hrishikesh Pandey who is currently being seen as CID officer Sachin turns a year old today. Incidentally, Pandey shares his birthday with the living legend of this country Dilip Kumar.

When asked he says, "Yes, I am aware that I share my birthday with the great Dilip Saab. I am simply thankful to the almighty, to be born on the same date with Dilip saab. Because Dilip Kumar is the epitome of excellence and brilliance for me. Even if I get a fraction of that as an artist, I will be more than happy. I wish I could meet him on our birthday."

Pandey also feels that the movies which Dilip Kumar has done are path breaking and all his characters are iconic. Whether it was Madhumati or Mughal-e-Azam or Ganga Jamuna Dilip Kumar has been most talented and versatile superstar of India. Sharing birthday with Dilip Kumar is a blessing. Hrishikesh also shares his birthday with his co-actor of CID Daya Shetty and with actor turned director Parmeet Sethi.
