No connection with Shekhars

Did anyone feel connected with today's episode excpet for Shiv's tears...i don't know but no matter how emotional CVs try to make Shekhar track they are not able to bring that connection which they brought with Singh family...as far as i remember every Singh family story was better written and emotional enought to make audience feel for them but here even after so many months i just ca't feel anything much for Shekhar family...their involment make BV look very unlike BV...the family has gone through quiet some bad incidents but every where their foolishness is involved and till now i feel connected with shiv only and sometimes with Meenu...rest look like waste on screens

in BH stories, there was always strength.. and power in acting of dadisa, bhairo, jagya etc.. even ghehna tracks wer also exallent, superb performance by neha, sidprats tracks before marriage was exallent.. even jagan track before marriage was best...and cv's carried in very well way.. which is missing in few tracks of shakers.. viewers are tolerating shakers just for sid...its true BH peopleitself BV...

I feel NOTHING for Shekhars. Their tracks are badly written, build up is never proper. Actors also are miscast and have no chemistry with each other. They don't give the feel of a family. They go against the original flavour of the show.

Singhs are cast well. Thankfully they have less replacements. When they behave crazy it's sometimes understood because they're from a very backward set up.

Singhs stand for the real issues and concept of BV. Not just Singhs but all rural characters seem conducive to essence of BV.

Shekhars are like any other serial and any other drama. Their issues have no depth. Their so called huge drama tracks are nothing but flimsy nautanki. And I blame CVs for that.

Shekhars can never have connect of Singhs or even a Heth Singh even if serial runs for 5 more years and focuses on Shekhars.

Shiv is the only properly sketched out and well cast, well performed character. He's so different that I don't count him as a Shekhar! For me he's like that mythical Surya Badal who Anandi used to talk about in the fairytales she read. I refuse to believe he's a part of this lallu "family".

Meenu's okay but her character lacks a proper graph too.

I am increasingly losing a sense of connect with this show.

Shekkar stories are always badly written right from sanchi, maahi, up to this who is shiv's parents track. Today's episode- the story was unbelievable. I don't even understand the need for meenu to give her baby to ira just because alok pleaded with her. Even meenu disgusted me today pleading with ira that I just gave birth but shiv is still your son, still treating shiv like an object that can be given away and doesn't have any feelings. It was all about keeping ira happy, shiv's feelings didn't count.

Those were earlier times when CV did have a story and script.

Shayad shekhars se bhi connect ho isiliye yeh rona dhona track le aaye, since their dinner conversions and urban pep talks didn't work. Mujhe toh pehele wale singh family dinner table convos bhi isse acche lagthe the😆.

Meenu's dialogues were indeed stupid. I have "just" given birth - was BS. Worse was totally taking blame on herself, excusing Alok, and feeling guilty for having called out to Ira when she was in labour pain!

When someone is in so much pain it's natural for him/her to do anything. Why's she feeling guilty for that?

I hated how CVs etched this story. Badly written.

Yeah in Singhs' times CVs had stories. Now they have nothing. They're also slowly robbing Singhs of their connect and essence by either not showing them at all or trying to urbanise them - robbing them of their accent and using routine Hindi or loads of English in their talks. Their trying to compare every woman with Anandi and doing padhpota jaap is also getting irritating now.

Shekhars have entered in a time when BV has no story. 😆 Their stuff starts and ends abruptly or is left midway.

DS used to be so angry if something was hidden from her. Daddu is standing uselessly, not even complaining once about such a massive truth hidden from him. He was feeble in reacting to Sanchi's idiosyncrasies too. Such a weak partriarch is unbelievable!

As of now, I can't believe Meenu's loyalty to Alok-Ira and so called guilt complex took precedence over her attachment for her own first child and loyalty to her husband, father of her child!

I also can't believe that Alok felt for Meenu's stress when she called out for Ira in pain. But forgot about her emotions when he EBed her to give away her child! 😲

Even to me Shekhars don't feel like family...there are so disconnected with each other...it's like they are forced to stay under one roof...in fact it's quiet shocking that the way they had shown Shiv for few initial days everyone had thought that his family would be really strong and better than Singhs but i really don't see how Shiv got so good qualities every member of his family is strange and full of stupidity...only Shiv seems to have some authoritive personality and that too CVs mess up to make Anandi mahaan...becoz of shekhars even singhs are losing their rural touch which is very disturbing to me

I havent seen the episode. But from what I am reading, it does make sense.
