Was Sanjay being selfish?

Hi Folks,

After watching today's episode, I felt Sanjay had been selfish and only thought about himself and his love when he lied to Shruti about his mom's acceptance.

Agreed, he's a great guy, loves Shruti a lot and wants to support her. But knowing his mother's nature and what she is capable of, it was unfair of him to tell Shruti such a lie and result in bringing Ami and Khusboo to his house.

After all based on how everyone is bashing/insulting them in the house, it must be so torturous for the kids. I especially feel for the character of Khusboo since she is so young to deal with all this crap instead of focusing on studies or playing with friends. And Ami too.10th Standard board exams are such an important milestone in any kid's life and she had barely managed to get into10th.

Now its as if her studies have been totally forgotten. I don't think we heard the "Padhle Ami" dialog over the past month 😊

And I did not understand Sanjay's logic that once his mom understands Shruti's nature she will gradually accept her. Till that happens, does he expect Shruti and the kids to bear the insults and all the negativity in his house? What an environment for kids to live in and imagine what impact it'll have on their psyche?

Somehow I had more expectations from Sanjay's character and his understanding of relationships. Does anyone else feel the same way?

well I have to agree if that is the case cuz I have not seen that episode.. sanjay really thinks his mom will ever accept shruti... oh come on some people have die hard opinions even if they are wrong... all sanjay has to do is buy a house of his own and live in peace😆

Yes, that would be the best solution to the mess.

If Sanjay has any sense, he would not force Shruti to return to his family house. He would move out himself and fix his relationship with Shruti and the kids first before thinking of returning them to that hell and working on the relationships with Prabha and others.

After all how many bad relationships can a person handle at one time

People do have strong opinions and nothing wrong with that but the treatment being meted out to Shruti and the kids goes way beyond just expressing strong opinions.

I too feel Sanjay did not think it thru
And concept of show changed to saas bahu drama
But I love the reel and real kushboo
The girl playg kushboo does a great job

I don't think he can force her to come back at all cuz she has a mind of her own, she determined and has her family support so sanjay has to do the changing and I want to see that.. lets see what his mom will do then..
