Episode 441 Discussion: 29th Nov 2013

Welcome to the Episode discussion thread which we call as Viewer's and Reader's Respite. That's very apt, don't you think ? 😉. And that proves our objective.

Objective behind the thread is

It helps in keeping the forum clean without much litter. People just need to fall in a habit.
We can have it like breathers at first followed by analysis.
It also helps like-minded souls and pals bond and gel together to drop in their thoughts for themselves as breathers and for their friends as a peep into the episode and for others to post their reviews.
And those from different time-zones, who do not get to watch the episode at this time of telecast (Indian 8:30 PM), without any worry to trace or keep track of all their buddy's posts, they can come here, read with leisure and later post their analysis after watching it from their Time zones.

Note for Newcomers to this thread.

Extremist thoughts and moralizing thoughts are not welcome over this thread. It is entertainment show we are watching. The channel calls their programs as entertainment and we are watching the show. Discussions are welcome in light hearted and in realistic manner. Moral policing is not appreciated. We do not want to feel stifled into that kind of atmosphere here.

There are several other social welfare sites that are there to discuss the genuine issues. If for some reason, it is felt that social concerns have to be addressed and ethical and moral responsibility needs to be exercised for watching entertainment, then; certainly the forum is an open place to create separate ATs and build up that kind of propaganda.

Please heed to this as direct request and conditional requirement to participate in this thread. Strong words such as psychopaths unless used in show, need not be used to instigate riotous atmosphere or start sermonizing.

POINTERS for Writing/Posting of your reviews and thoughts over this EDT

Do not litter the thread with chit-chat conversations. A little is permitted to have the friendly atmosphere, but when you feel like chatting more, it is desired you take your conversation with your buddies to alternate venues like chat clubs, pm mode etc.
Quoting Policy: It is desired that people refrain from single, double, triple and multiple quoting of posts on a repetitive basis. They can pick out the parts that they like to quote as opposed to quoting the entire post. It is often seen that we have to scroll through the pages when all they have done is quoting and more quoting with one line response to the actual post. IF has a rule that more than three times quoting is not allowed. But nowadays as people read IF posts over phone, it is preferred that people do not quote longer posts and just extract the portions of the post that they like to respond to and if they still find it relevant to their thought process then get the entire quoted text.
Regulate the font size and colors. Keep remembering that. It is really not pleasing to see big bolded letters, or multi-colored font for no special reason.
The thread becomes a mess when you give your review and do not REST for sometime until others have posted. Please understand, respites or reviews; once or twice are good for few pages...don't make a regular chat thread with your reiterating/whining/complaining on the same point. For the online readers, the thread becomes unpleasant read. There is a separate Complaints thread in Main Forum
When episodic content is emotional, take a deep breath, give a good lengthy review; that acts as your vent in one single post...and make an exit to calm down your nerves if you still are possessed by only what you've seen.

TRPs/TVTs for week 47, November 17th - 23rd, 2013

The two charts below show: 1) Top 15 shows TRPs and 2) TRP increase/drop for those shows, compared to the week prior. The blue bars on the second chart are the ones that did better, the red are the ones that did worse, and the no bars are the ones that were the same. TVTs (which I believe do provide an accurate picture of relative rankings) were used to rank the shows.

Note: this is a rough analysis. Please feel free to point out any holes.

now what are we supposed to interpret from this episode? watch it like a David Dhawan movie? na sar pair na kuch..

Dips is the one who came out looking like a fool here isn't it? she said Madhu has now seen you insecure and jealous..mujhe toh nahi laga..did it happen?

n what's with RK? if he did this to show her the fallout of being a superstar, well, then well done ! that is, if i got it right..just that one dialogue about superstars, acting, superstar's nakli life changed the entire scene...and the kiss...wohooaa ! humein bhi kuch dikha dete? who wanted to watch those extras while RK dared to kiss Madhu ...jo SR par bhi nahi hua camera angles mein?😆

the song, i love kurbaan hua but as usual, it was poor editing from their end..the little bit steps which RM did were good...they were exactly like titli and rang deeni..but still, nice set up and mood...only if it was edited well...whatever itsy bitsy was shown, i liked it...

nikamme guests, more concerned abt food ! Radha should hide her face in some corner, why is she giving reactions?

RM scene in the bedroom...yeh kya tha?🤣 i mean..seriously? when Madhu told RK tht she doesn't want to be a heroine, and he was happy, and she reacted like "andhere mein choda teer nishane par" and started laughing herself 🤣 dono grade 1 ke ullu lag rahe the...what was the point? one thing RK said correctly...he wants to see Madhu as his wife only...He was never interested in making her a heroine , we all know since the beginning of this track (and he told Dips) that he cannot share Madhu with anyone...call him MCP or whatever, Madhu in THIS profession, he will never accept...

RM visiting the gynae...thankfully, this doc. is better...and we got a cute scene of RM before miscarriage 😭 Madhu takes a promise from him that he will not tell anyone...which of course, will be broken...

I said it in the other thread also, it's a superstition and it doesn't affect one's pregnancy, unless it's in the mind...like the crew members and family (and half of the hospital) must be knowing, Mr. Mehta will also know abt her pregnancy so why raise a hue and cry over it?

back home, Abhiman played out again..the producer asks for Madhu and not RK...

Bari moti chamri hai Madhu ki..that was exactly what I was thinking the entire time while watching the episode.. 🤣 ... and also that we were right all along.. 😳

Loved the episode!! But I felt it was quite rushed.. and yeah.. hated the editing!!

I hope mughe danday na parain for saying this but I didn't think RK's speech was as insulting a I was expecting it to be. I mean, maybe because whatever he was saying, he was right somewhere. It was after all RK who noticed Madhubala. He was the one who brought her in front of the whole world otherwise she would have been getting yelled at by Mukund's Ayi for not making rotis perfectly rounded. 😆

RK did shape her destiny and brought her into the spotlight. Forget the world, she herself would have never noticed the potential in her had it not been for RK.

However, yeah, he went overboard and his intention was to devalue her in front of everyone else. He was wrong.

Deepali, takes charge of the things and ignites the fire... She knew RK was not done. Before someone else breaks the ice, she snooped in.

Anyways, Kurbaan Hua was a huge let down for me. Didn't like it one bit. Hopefully someone in the forum will edit out the whole sequence cropping away the unwanted faces that came popping up in the middle of the whole sequence. Then I might be able to enjoy it to some extent.

The song suited the situation very well though. RK kisses her at the end and marks her as her own in front of the world. That was very much loud and clear.

Bittuji talks to RK and RK realizes what he had done... (loved VD's expressions) ..

Dips comes with a drink to gloat!

HAH!! Take that Deepali.. you were wrong!! I am so happy!! This is one of the reasons that I loved today's episode!! Deepali doesn't know RK the way she thinks she does! RK was not jealous .. okay maybe he was a little jealous... but no.. that was not the reason why he was acting out!! He was possessive of his Biwi!! (Pat myself and Anki at the backs!! 😛)

He said it loud and clear that he doesn't want to share her with the world and the industry that ha capability to change people!! It changed him, didn't it?!! The man is only insecure about losing his wife... like always!!! He doesn't want to loose his Madhu to the glamour world.. he cannot give the right to love and appreciate his Madhu to others!

I loved it!! Loved it even more that RK discussed his insecurities with Madhu loud and clear.. and Madhu gave him confidence and assured him that he won't loose her!

However, I couldn't help but laugh at Madhu!! Kia moti chamri hai iski!! 🤣 I mean I get that she understood RK's viewpoint and all.. but c'mon man! You just got insulted at your own party!! In front of everyone!! Seriously!! Kaunsi mitti ki banni hai yeh larki! 😆 .. I mean, Just one scene earlier he was humiliating her and in the next scene.. "Ishq Tu Hi Hai Mera.." 😆

But anyways, moving on... The air between RishBala was clear so I am happy as a loyal RishBala fan! Who cares about the reaction of the people at the party? Who cares about the world hai na? Our crazies don't that's for sure!! RK humiliated Madhu and so himself and his family in front of everyone made everyone uncomfortable.. made up with Madhu in private and so raat gayi baat gayi.. 😆

At least is baar guests ko khana toh mila.. unlike last year's party.. 😆

Anyways..loved the scene at gynecologist's ... would have loved it more if it wasn't VD's body double. so, RK wants to keep hearing that Madhu doesn't want to be a heroine.. hmm.. Anyways RK was cute. 😳

The scene with producer was alright.. though his fake accent bothered me a little... 😆

Precap: There is more to it RK.. do not jump to conclusions!! Oh well.. no point telling him when he is in his hulk's avatar! 😆

I was severely disappointed ...I was so looking forward to a hot number...
Song apne ek rhythm pe chal rahi thi...aur dono dance kar kuch aur rhythm pe the 🥱
I am ashamed to admit how excited I was over it 😵
...at the same time I get why it was shown like that...see below why...

So to the review...
RK continues his volley of veiled insults...downplaying Madhu and at the same time taking the credit of making "Superstar Madhubala" all to himself...

He is right...he is the reason why Madhu is a star now😆...but he has the reasons wrong
But then again he is not thinking clearly...or is he thinking at all? 🤪

Dance...as a dance...was a highly humiliating disaster for the choreographer.😵
Dance...as a part of the plot...was a success for the choreographer, if he was following the director's instructions.👏

The dance was not meant to be hot or seductive or passionate...it was meant to be arrogant, possessive, controlling, dominating, selfish and lustful...because RK was not trying to dance with her...he was trying to prove a point...
to tell Biwi "You cant ever escape me. How dare u be so lovable that someone else loves you! You need to be punished but fear not...I will go easy on you this time"...
to show the world that "look here, this is MY Madhubala, NOT yours. Private Property of RK. So get lost". 😆

Same goes for the kiss...I cant explain that to you in explicit words in fear of scaring away the kids here...😆

All shocked, embarrassed and trying to escape the situation...so lets have dinner 😃

Dips trying to make entry...but she is dead wrong this time...RK is woken from his trance of "Me man, she my woman" and realizes what he has done...the only thing of Dips's words that pierced his brain that "she isnt just some other actress, she is your wife...and look what you did" 😆...RK looks like he regained his mental faculties (was it the the blood rushing north?)

Madhu having some mild pains...its usually normal ( as far as I know, unless its too severe, or there is any blood with it)...

RK comes there...promptly falls to his knees and apologizes...Madhu says the words that would shake him up and make him most guilty...good, well done Jungli Billi ...finally some sense in you...Strike One to Madhu

RK fumbles to explain...as he barely knows why he is behaving thus...

and then Madhu delivers the breaking news...Main sirf RK ki Biwi banna chahti hu ...And I Start Believing In Miracles!!! 😲
Omg...ek hi din mein Madhu has done a 180 degree reversal...from not understanding him...she has gone on to premeditating his reasons, that he himself cannot explain. 🤪...Strike Two to Madhu
And RK literally blabbers his heart out to her...she is HIS...everything about her is HIS...everything done to her is by HIS hand...No one else can have any part of her... even if its her shadow, even if its fake, no one else can have it but him.
Junoon-e-Ishq sar chadh ke chilla raha hai...😆

And wonder upon wonders...biwi is actually able to calm the beast in him ...Strike Three to Madhu..."Its raining brains, Hallelujah!"🤪

The USG video scene was very sweet and funny...i loved it. So RK has made a promise. 😆

Bloody Hell !! Kya episode tha yeh !

The speech was as expected ..RK ne unwedding wali raat yaad dila di .

Phir Chipkali ka chance pe dance ..

Kurban hua was good ..if you it as a way to you know show dominance and possivness and all that stuff but as a dance it was way below my expectations .

Phir Dips with a wine glass ...and words of advice from Bittu ji .
VD was great in that scene .

RM bedroom scene toh yaar kaamal ka tha! Yeh dono sach mein bahut high degree wale pagal . Made for each other .
Phir jab RK mia apne "tum sirf meri ho " wale jaap par aa gaya ..I was like bas ab ho gaya satayanaash .

All in all yeh epi kuch aur hi tha ..

i thought he was just "acting" in front of her and the whole world...and telling Madhu what it takes to be a superstar..it's all fake, it's all drama, you can never know when one is acting and when he is not...Dips took it forward n announced tht everyone will see RM's chemistry..that's why nobody including Madhu took it seriously...

through this, his sole intention was to show it to MC that he gives two hoots to his "RK ko credit nahi lene doonga"..Madhubala ke paida hone ka credit bhi RK lega, doesn't he know? 🤣 woh RK ke liye studio mein paida hone aayi thi u c...so when nobody gave the credit to him, he snatched it...and how cleverly he included all the kaam wali bai references...if she was not RK's wife, she wud be mopping Muku's floors and khilaoing his bache...

ETA but why does Madhu or RK or MC take the credit? the credit should go to Mr. Murthy who , with his life threatening threats "forced" Madhu into stardom ! 🤪

may I ask why is everyone (on the forum in general and i heard,on FB too) criticized the dance so much ? did they forget Madhu was pregnant?😆 superstar holding his superstarni is abuse toh here he was dancing with her..
