Why does Rekha wear Sindoor?

I have recently observed that she wears Sindoor almost everywhere she goes. Her husband died many years ago so why is she still wearing it? Is it for the reason I think it is? 😆

Can anyone elaborate more?

she is married to Amitabh bachan since many years but for the sick of media they show themself together

Shes lost it since she lost Amitabh after his major accident.

Once at some filmfare award, while presenting n award she

looks directly at bachchan and says "main aap ko bahut din se

dikh rahi hoon" mujhe bahut khush lag rahi hai aap ko dekh ke.

I hope aap bhi mujhe dekh ke khush ho rahe ho.

of course the press reported.

then she turns up at weddings where she knows AB will be.

and at the Black premiere. had she not been a celebrity

who knows what her level of stalking would hv been?

That sindoor is to satisfy herself ki she is married to Bachchan

even while Bachchan plays family man to his brood at home and

travels world with wifey Jaya and son n bahu.

she is single a grown woman no one to answer to, she can

do what she likes if it satisfies her.

Jaya was the perfect wife for AB to become the icon he is now.

Rekha is not disciplined at all. Had he married her who knows what

kind of kids he would hv had. Abhishek and Shweta are very classy

and they have had a smooth sailing life. free of scandal.

Life with rekha might hv been more exciting. I dont know doing what

tho. Jaya is involved in social causes and member of Parliament

she s been. so she is an added asset to Bachchans image.

Rekha seems to just doll up in make up and glitter and attend

bashes or opening of spas.

I read on wiki that she was married but her husband committed suicide, maybe in his memory she wear sin door.

Actually I find her very very strange! The only explanation I have is that she 'mentally married' Big B and lives in a sort of her own world. I watched some of her interviews and she comes across a bit delusional to me. I don't mean to demean her or anything by calling her "delusional". But I think she developed a shield or her own bubble where she lives in order to be sane. She comes across as twisted personality.
