Kareena does not care whether her movie is a hit or a flop. She is happily married and is now at a place not many actresses reach. In four-five years, all these new actresses will grow old, and others will replace them. What would be left in their life? As Julia Roberts in Notting hill says, they will be someone who was famous once. What Kareena has done, is great. She has prioritized her life and her love. And that's the only thing that will count at the end. Aish will be happy because she found Abhishek. Kareena will be happy because she found Saif. Acting and glamour can only stay for so long. Finally, it will all come down to how much happiness you attained. And Kareena, I must say, did the perfect thing by giving more importance to things that matter. Just like Vidya. These women know that just a career cannot assure happiness. They found love, and stood by it. If Ranbir doesn't marry Kat, or Deepika doesn't hold on to Ranveer, and PC does not stop whatever the hell she is doing, they will face the same fates as actresses like Rani, Preity or Karishma. So no. this film may not have worked for Kareena, but she has done the right thing by making the right choice in life. And She will continue to be happy. 😊 And her career will also thrive with films like Shuddhi.
P.S I like Deepika by the way. But, bringing down someone else to celebrate another is plain sad.
Edit- Since people are rather outraged by my emphasis on marriage, I must clarify that I meant love. Love is a form of the marriage of two minds, or so would Shakespeare say. And no, marriage is nobody's ultimate destiny. But love is. And I choose to appreciate Kareena for prioritizing her love.
