it does matter to me. Of course the story is very important. for example there have been shows that i started watching bc of my fav actor but the shows were so boring that i just stopped.

As for Qubool Hai, i really started watching it for Karan Singh Grover but then I really got hooked to the show and all the other characters/actors. But today is they suddenly decide to make Archana (Nikhat) the lead and Surbhi just comes on screen once a week I wont be hooked anymore. And the weeks during Zoyaan marriage when Karan wasn't there, it was so easy for me to not watch the show even though Ayaan is a well developed important character and so was Zoya, it didn't matter bc for me QH goes hand in hand with KSG.

Qubool isnt a show with amazing characters that have been developed so well, most of them are one dimensional. And the only story line I like is Asad-Zoya and Ayaan-Humaira.

But Subhi and Karan (Asad and Zoya) will always be the leads for me and without them I wouldn't watch the show. They are the only who are indispensable for me.

I guess everyone's opinion will differ but for me it does matter because I only watch the show for Asad and Zoya because let's be real the story ain't all that great so if the focus were to shift away from them and unto some other characters or if either of them were to replaced , I would lose interest tbh.

Yes for me leads do matter

yarri yes it effect me i start show due to lead hero but it story n character which bound me for long time to show

I know no actor is bigger than the show but I'll definitely quit if either one of Karan and Surbhi don't play Asad and Zoya.

for me KSG is the real hero 😊

like am a die hard KSG fan, from his show Kitni mast hai zindagi...i don't live in India so am least related to the channel,, buh somehow in middle of june i came to know KSg is doing a show on Zee...so i started watching the show,, then i got attached to Surbhi too...the days when cv's were on the job to give an equal role to vikrant/ayaan...many of the fans stepped back,,, not only Ksgians buh quboolians n asyaians too...

unluckily indian dramas just get the fame on name of leads,, i know its bitter, buh most of them are devoid of story,, in ipkknd people pressurized gul to quit th show as its lead barun/arnav was leaving...

it does matter who is playing lead, due to him whole cast n drama comes into limelight too... like i must have never known surbhi if i hadn't watch QH.. n if ksg was not there then QH hadn't existed on the position at which it is still, despite of its pathetic n illogical story...
