Ash refused to do a screen test!

Director–producer Rakesh Roshan had wanted to cast Aishwarya Rai in 'Krrish', but it did not work out as Ash refused to appear in a screen test and needless to say Priyanka Chopra had stepped in. "It was basically a 'look' test, which Ash mistook as screen test. Meanwhile Priyanka was keen on working with Rakesh Roshan and she agreed to go through a screen test to get the role," a source says.
However, in 'Krrish', Hrithik-Priyanka chemistry had been well-appreciated all over, and that's the reason Rakesh Roshan is contemplating to repeat Priyanka in 'Krrish' sequel. Truly somebody's loss is somebody's gain. Does it need to say, who is the gainer here?
