Here's something you probably didn't know about Pritish Nandy Communications' upcoming film, Just Married.
Perizaad Zorabian and Bikram Saluja play cameo roles in the film, alongside protagonists Fardeen Khan and Esha Deol.

Why was Amrita missing from Red?

| | | Doing My Job: Amrita Arora in Red | A raw deal in raw sex films seems to be the order of the day. Not that anyone is complaining, as long as the erotic content brings in the drooling crowds. But one actor who has ample reason to be miffed is Amrita Arora.
Not only was she kept completely out of the promos and hoardings of Vikram Bhatt's Red, her role has also been reduced to that of a junior artiste in the film. What gives?
Left behind
A source in the unit says, "With the help of his buddy Vikram Bhatt, Aftab Shivdasani was very keen to project himself as the new macho stud on the B-Town block.
Since Amrita was not a part of the plot's erotic content, she naturally got left behind. Celina Jaitly, who's currently pushing herself as the new sex symbol, benefited from Aftab's libidinous aspirations."
Amrita remains sweetly tight-lipped about her shockingly truncated appearance in Red's publicity and reel. "Is there really that little of me in the film? I do my job and forget about the rest. I'm not into promoting myself," she says.
Interestingly, Celina, who has a strictly supporting role in Suneel Darshan's Shaka Laka Boom Boom, is being promoted as one of the two leading ladies, much to the dismay of co-star Kangana Ranaut.
She's finding herself sharing every promotional platform for Shaka Laka Boom Boom with the aggressive new Jaitly.
Laughs a source, "At least Kangana isn't being pushed out of the film's publicity. Amrita was reduced to a mere prop in the scenery in Red!" | |

Jiah's million-dollar jacket!

The actress has a keen eye for quirky fashion trends and loves interesting ensembles not just on screen but also for daily wear.
"I love clothes and have always had an individual sense of style. I was really comfortable in the clothes I wore in Nishabd," she says.
Of all the outfits, there is one denim jacket that Jiah holds closest to her heart. She was even seen wearing it at the premiere of the film. Says Jiah, "It's one of my most prized possessions.
On the last day of the shoot, I asked everyone from Mr Bachchan to the other actors and technicians to personally sign it. It symbolises the amazing time I had during the making of the film."
Charity case
When asked as to how expensive the jacket is, she says, "It's a million-dollar jacket! I also have my name carved on it, so no one else can lay their hands on it. It's truly priceless."
However, in the near future Jiah plans to auction off the jacket and raise money for charity. "It will be a tough task to give the jacket away, but I think it will be for a good cause. The bidder will definitely have to raise the stakes to get hold of this baby," she says.
Post Nishabd's release, the actress has got all sorts of compliments from people around the world. "There was this guy from Australia who called me and said he wanted to marry me. He was like. 'If you can fall in love with a 60-year-old man, then why not me?' Imagine that!"
Icon in the making?
Has her bold image caused her any trouble with fans-turned-stalkers? "Not really. But recently I was taking a shower and all of a sudden I had this eerie feeling like someone was watching me.
So I just closed the shower curtains and relaxed. It's not that I am scared, but some times you can't help when your mind wanders," she says.
Even though the movie hasn't been a commercial success, Jiah isn't affected by the dismal box office reports. "When we set out to make the movie, we knew exactly who the audience was.
It wasn't supposed to be a film for frontbenchers. I am really happy with the feedback."
What's the weirdest compliment she's received till date? "Someone told me that I was an icon in the making, like Sharon Stone. I thought that was really cool." | |

Divya gets 'Keshto Mukerji award'

| It's not an actual award. Her friends initiated it because she got high on bhang on Holi, lost her keys and kept her family waiting outside for three hours!
| | | Hic Hic Hurray: Divya Dutta | Actors have been known to get drunk and behave crazily. But in one of those unusual occurrences, Divya Dutta got high on bhang and behaved in a hilarious manner on Holi.
Says Divya, "I stopped taking bhang at Holi because two years ago, I behaved very badly! I promised myself that I wouldn't have it again. But this time, I went to Shabanaji's (Azmi) Holi party and couldn't resist.
I had a glass and found it so yummy that I had it all in one go. Then I became very high and happy.
They say bhang depresses you, but I was euphoric. In fact, I was so euphoric that my friends gave me the Keshto Mukerji award!"
'Key' to happiness
After the parties got over, the overly happy Divya realised that she had misplaced her car and house keys! "I kept searching in my befuddled state for the keys.
Fortunately, a friend drove me and my family home in his car, but then we had no key to enter the house! I kept everyone waiting outside for three hours dripping with colour, till my driver, who had a spare set with him, arrived and let us in.
The funny thing is that I was to leave for the outdoor schedule of Rituparno Ghosh's The Last Lear in Kolkata that very day. It was like a nightmare!"
Divya says that two years ago, when she had baang, she ruined a friend's brand new sofa set when she plonked herself on it in all her colourful glory! "I just wouldn't get up!
It was very funny but my friend didn't think so! Till date, she hasn't forgiven me for ruining her new sofa, but she got her revenge when she distributed my bhang pictures to friends!"
High on life
This week, Divya has gotten three awards in three different categories. "I got the Prettiest Woman award for Woman's Day.
Then I got the Sansui award for Best Actress for Shanno Ki Shaadi, and then the Keshto Mukerji award from my friends.
I guess I am a very versatile actor and person," Divya giggles, adding, "I'm high on life and I take it in a positive way. Keshtoji was a cute guy." | |
