At first let me applaud to the writer to create Raghus character in such a natural way. Raghu passed through 3 phases in tonight's episode.
Sadness: Raghu's morning sleep was covered with the dark cloud of nightmares. He was watching the worst memories of his life in his sleep. Sunlight fell onto his face and disturbed his sleep. And then someone stood between sun and Raghu. The scorching hot morning sun was no longer bothering him. He opened his eyes to see the person who gave him such comfort in this morning and he saw it was none other than Antara. He felt peace for one second. For one moment, he thought that, Of course it's her. She always gives me peace. She is my life.' Watching Antara there made him so happy that he lost the track of reality and dream. He wanted to think that all he saw last night was just a nightmare. My heart cried here for this innocent man. Every proof that he was getting there about the reason of Antara's being in Naik Sadan, her changing status- he was becoming shocked and the moment he saw her sindoor, his expression was like he was dying. When Antara kept telling him repeatedly that she is now Mrs. Sattya Naik, Raghu was losing grip on his own life. He was lost. He refused to believe that until Phattu came there to give Antara several names. When they left, reality started to hit Raghu gradually that he had lost everything. This was his sadness.
Frustration: Raghu decided to talk to Antara. He watched her bringing breakfast for Sattya. The scene itself was heartbreaking for him. But he didn't stop. He gathered courage and stopped her. He conveyed that he knows why she is doing all these. See, this man knows very well that Antara is taking revenge and she is using Sattya as a pawn. But what was bothering him that Sattya is a very dangerous creature. He has power now and very soon he will hurt Antara by using his very power. It made Raghu afraid for Antara's safety. And he tried to clear the misunderstanding ASAP. But he couldn't talk to her. The door scene was speaking volumes today. Antara's eyes conveyed her undying love loudly there. Raghu read her eyes and felt restless watching her helplessness. He became frustrated. In the morning, the guilt that stopped him from questioning Antara in the terrace got reduced in to half and converted in to frustration.
Anger: His patience was being tested since the morning. He could not bear the torture any more when Antara was praising Phattu. He raised his hand. Well here, I don't want to analyze his this action much, I only want to say that he was angry to see her foolishness. Her putting herself in danger always makes him angry and today that anger just multiplied like 10000 folds. When Antara hold his hand, he himself was ashamed that how could he do that. Antara's rough words were stabbing his heart million times. He was entirely bruised and bleeding. And Antara was seeing him bleeding but her hatred was not letting her to comfort him. He was about to cry but then came Phattu and his words washed away all the rest of the sadness that was hovering in Raghu's mind. The other half of the guilt was also evaporated by Phattu's taunts and his challenge to destroy Raghu. Anger completely replaced the sadness and frustration. I hope very soon, this anger will give him strength as a silent protector of Antara from Sattya.
What I loved about Raghu is- this boy never loses hope. If Raghu was not Raghu and any other so called super heroes of Indian tv, he would have bent down his head when Antara was telling him to call her Mrs Naik, give respect, I am bahu of this family , relationship has changed and all that fake gussa. But This is Raghu and he doesn't take any crap. He was continuously trying and trying and trying. At first at terrace, then in corridor also 2 times, then again terrace, then he shouted on Satyya. At last he was looking as if he was going to kill Sattya right there right then. That's the specialty of Raghu. He is intelligent and natural unlike the other soap heroes. He is very aware of the fact that Antara is pretending. Sattya's dominating behavior is giving him worry and soon the worry will turn into fear,fear of Antara's being getting hurt. And yes, he is well known of the fact that he is a victim of being present in a wrong place at wrong time. The tiny winy guilt that was inside him will soon completely disappear. Just let him watch Antara in danger for once.
These all are good symptom. As a hero, Raghu should be like this only unlike the other cry babies .Kudos to the writer for keeping him in this way. His anger is getting back and his guilt is vanishing. Thanks to Sattya for his foolishness.
