Child Labour: Scourge of our Society

Until all the children are free there is no freedom for any of us. Child labour is an indictment on us. A society that fails to protect its children, fails to protect its future.

Eight views and no comments. Are such topics too heavy for IF members? I think these issues do need us to interact even whilst we entertain ourselves.

Congratulations Zee TV for bringing such issues to the forefront!!! Most of us prefer to sweep it under the carpet and pretend that it doesn't exist! Hope the show survives!!!

Yes indeed, Indi. Zee TV has certainly taken a bold step to bring the issues into our faces. Now let's make sure we keep the issue topical and influence all those around us so that we can rid ourselves of this scourge. Freedom for our children in our life time!!!

The ocean is made up of drops of water, Indi. If each one of us adds our little voice and do our little bit, we will bring about positive changes. The lone voice in the dark must be heard some day. Since we have heard, let's spread the word to others.

I was glad to see that Kamla threatened Neetu to tell the police that she had employed a child to work in her home. neetu's expression shwoed that she knew that she would be in serious trouble. It would have been even better if she had in fact reported the matter to the police. But at least they are protraying the matter well.
