"Andheri and Bandra are the most lively and happening areas in Mumbai!" - Hiten Tejwani

The very popular Hiten Tejwani, better known as Manav' from Zee TV's longest running show Pavitra Rishta, shares with urlremoved his take on the city of Mumbai!

How is Mumbai different from any other city?

The city of Mumbai is very lively and always buzzing 247, as this city just never sleeps! You also get everything possible that you require out here, which is just awesome! So for me, this is what differentiates Mumbai from other cities.

What is that one thing you can't live without in this city?

There are a lot of things one requires to survive in Mumbai, which is all a big package. So naming one thing isn't possible.

What do you love the most about Mumbai?

According to me, traveling by any form of transport in the night, is somehow very safe in Mumbai. In comparison to other metropolitan cities, it is definitely way better out here! And this is what I just love about this place.

What do you hate the most about Mumbai?

The traffic, dug up roads left mid-way, pollution etc is going to be ever lasting, till we all don't do something about it! So the infrastructure of this city is what I hate, and which really needs a lot of improvement very soon!

Vada Pav or Bhel Puri?

For me, it's both! One day for Vada Pav and the other for Bhel Puri!

If you have a tourist who has never been to Mumbai before, where would you take him/her?

To be honest, I would first take him/her on maybe a train ride to get a feel of the conditions in which people travel, a view of the dug up roads left halfway due to which so much pollution, traffic and mess is caused and maybe a view of the beaches as well which are always left so dirty! I would do this to show them how our city is and how good it can become if these problems are worked upon! Besides these things, I would obviously take him/her to a good restaurant serving some great food, lively music and fun people around! And also a view of Marine Drive, Worli Seaface, Gateway of India, The Taj etc, which of course have to be seen.

A place that can instantly cheer you up?

A peaceful and calm place like a Temple, as well as a lively restaurant or club with some great food, music and people!

Where can you have more fun- Suburbs or Town?

Andheri and Bandra are very lively and happening areas in Mumbai! So I would say that I can definitely have more fun in the suburbs. They have everything from Multiplexes, great restaurants as well as happening night clubs, which is as good as town now!

Name a place in Mumbai where you can never ever get bored?

My shooting studio in Andheri East! As work for me is passion, which I can never ever get bored off.
