While it is being said that Katrina Kaif has agreed to star in Abhishek Kapoor's 'Fitoor' opposite Aditya Roy Kapoor, we now hear that the actress is yet to sign on the dotted line.

A source says, "Abhishek Kapoor's camp has been spreading rumours about the actress having agreed to the project but Katrina has been out of town and hasn't had a chance to clarify the rumours. Sushant Singh Rajput was the original choice for the role that Aditya is playing. Now that Sushant isn't in the film, Katrina is having second thoughts about the project." We hear the actress who is gearing up for her next big release 'Dhoom 3' is taking her time to decide on whether or not she wants to be a part of 'Fitoor'.

While the makers claim that Katrina Kaif has signed Abhishek Kapoor's Fitoor, sources close to the actress maintain that she has not yet signed on the dotted line. Kat had only given the nod to the project.

The film was initially to feature Sushant Singh Rajput but after he backed out of the project, now Aditya Roy Kapur has been pencilled in instead.

A source explains, "Katrina wanted to wait for Shuddh Desi Romance, watch his performance and then decide whether to do the film with Sushant. Now that he is out and Aditya is in, she has not yet decided anything about the project."

However, a source close to the production house says, "Katrina has signed the film and we are going ahead with the project."

Katrina, who is shooting in Beirut, and Abhishek remained unavailable for comment.
