A reported asked how come Imran is playing a South Indian in the film coz he doesnt look like one or something.

Bebo gave a fitting response, "They do look like him. Why...what is your image of South Indian?"

Yaaa, you all have accents. Everyone of you, not just South Indians. They are just different type of accents and educated South Indians accent would be different, like educated North Indians would have a different accent from lesser educated people.

I am not picking on Kareena, she was answering the reporter's backracking from looks to accent. (And in terms of the accent, it's correct that it is not easy to do, but I'm sure the reporter was backtracking.). In terns of looks, yeah not many South Indians would look like Imran, but the majority of Indians don't look like the light skinned actors either. But yes there are also South Indians one will come across that have light skin, hair with some light tinges...or light eyes.

Why can't Kareena be like this all the time?! She's so charming when she says things like this. Breaking stereotypes and yet being respectful to the person asking the questioning (even though it was a bogus question).

More importantly, do people realize the amount of diversity we have in India and across the globe?! Reporter def doesn't know what she's asking, but kudos to kareena for keeping her grace. See, Kareena isn't stupid just doesn't know at times how to put her point across in an articulate manner. I def like the Kareena I see here.
