I realize that for some of you it is October 22, but here in Canada it's still October 21. It was one year ago today (Oct 21) that the great Yash Chopra unfortunately passed away.
It is unbelievable how fast time flies...and unbelievable that such a legendar director had to die such a sudden death. No one was expecting it last year that he would pass away.

An amazing director.

Share your thoughts, favorite films, dialogues, and everything about Yashji!

I would like to mention a beautiful scene in the snow from Jab Tak Hai Jaan, where SRK sees Katrina for the first time. The background music, the snow, SRK's dialogue delivery...it was all great! He says "waise toh main apne life ke pachis (25) saal jee chuka tha, lekin zindagi toh meri uss din shuru hoyi thi...meri kahaani ka pehla din" and there is more in the dialogue but I can't remember the whole dialogue in detail (i can remember the rest of the dialogue in bits and pieces as I haven't heard it in a while). If someone could find the scene from youtube or something to show people who haven't seen that scene, it would be great!

Good director! Someone who got class, romance and fashion into our film.
On another note, why was Bacchan family not seen at Yah Chopra's b'day event or his awards ceremony. Heard they had a fallout after the statue unveiling incident.

Hard to believe that was a year ago. It doesn't feel that long. I still remember that day.
