What cracks me up about SB is that Kumud can never be right in her eyes. Because her being right means that her son is wrong. Like if she stays, then it's her fault for not being able to control her drunken son and his behavior. If she goes, it's her fault for deserting her son and walking out on the family. She will never understand that her son's mistreatment of others can only go so far because she was never at the receiving end of his blows, verbal and physical.

So when Kumud asked her for forgiveness, I wanted to laugh. It's SB who should be asking her for forgiveness for expecting her to be some superhuman that doesn't feel any pain whenever Pramad shows his temper. Not to mention keeping the fact about her son's identity a secret from the Desai family.

Should Kumud have tried to play the wife? Probably not. But she was just giving her marriage a chance, and for that SB should have been truly grateful. Especially since it was Pramad who broke his vows and not her.

What is good about her character is that she is so typical of the Indian saas, never tolerating any wrongness in her son and always blaming it on the DIL. As if Kumud's only role in life is to be a bloody doormat for both of them and carry on the family izzat by keeping fasts for this spoiled man.

Of course, if she had supported Kumud in any significant way, we would not have the utter joy of seeing Saras and Kumud together with Saras reclaiming his real identity. So for that one flaw in her, I give a million thanks. Her selfishness ensured that Kumud would be in danger once again and therefore Saras and Danny can never sleep in peace. 😃

kumud did everything to save her marriage .we did criticise her for being so blind but now at least we can proudly say the girl was always true to her stand and it is never ending harassment and physical violence and life taking attacks that made her to give up on him at last

so now we have ans. to all allegations of SD maiyya As for SD maiiyya and her endless love for her son , well cant blame her her many mothers r like him who r always blind to their sons wrong Let her be what she is and get best mother award from pramad.

All we know is that Kumud fulfilled her duties with all heart and decided to break marriage only when her husband pulled out the last string and it was her death.

So now kumud dharmadhikari , the pramad wife is dead in that fire and one which has come out of it is Kumud Desai ,Saraswatichandra's proud Love

Saubhagyavati Devi is the most hypocritical character of the show. You're absolutely right. The Dharmadhikari family has hidden not only the ugly truth of their son but also the abuse that Kumud went through. When Kumud confided in her great mother-in-law about how Pramad forced her to drink alcohol and forced himself on her...Saubhagavati Devi very cleanly helped herself out of the situation saying that "as his wife, its your duty to change his ways." Yet, when Kumud told them the truth about Saras, and admitted that she never crossed her limits or cheated on Pramad, Saubhagyavati thinks its a "itna bada dhoka" and apparently is unforgivable.
She is so blinded by her love for her son that it makes her just as horrible as Pramad if not more. I dislike her with a passion! I hope someone knocks some sense into her dense head!

Totally agree with you about SB. She is a blind mother and she didn't do her job well as a mother and now wants Kumud to do her duty as a wife.
How come she never found out the relation Pramad and Kalika having 😲

She is a bone headed mother and her unconditional love for Pramad made him what he is today.

As far as I am concerned, Everyone is wrong in her eyes when it involves her son🤢 If she could slap Alak, her own blood, I don't expect if she dis owns Kumud as well🄱 Her son is Bhagwan for her- sorry Buddidhan saabšŸ˜†

I agree, she is a hypocrite. I mean, her own daughter was forced into marriage and then the son so neither one had any freedom in that respect. The difference is that Alak had too much brains to let that hold her back. SB is the only one who is content with her lot in life, so of course she has the extra time to manage the entire household her own way. Telling the servants to do their work, and Kumud to babysit her overgrown son even if it means receiving abuse for it. SB slapping her own daughter in public for telling the truth was tragic because she was defensive of her ex-con son's behavior. You're right she is just as horrible, she didn't care about the bruises, alcohol, or the taunts as long as Kumud kept up the charade of the perfect DIL. And then for this woman to say she regrets Pramad's one big flaw of drinking is so hilarious. 🤣🤣 Because that is to make it sound like his other numerous flaws, including the brutal way he treats women don't even exist at all. The man went to jail before, and would still be there if it wasn't for the mercy of soon-to-be ex wife and completely sexist mother.

She never even liked Kumud to begin with. What she liked was the idea she had of the perfect bahu, someone who was attractive and observed ritual blindly, just as blindly as she loves her son. It was when the truth came out about Kumud's relationship with Saras that her true colors also emerged. She was more worried about Kumud's virtue than all of the endless garbage she and her son had dished out.

Pramad's one good act was to get drunk in front of Kumud's entire family so that they can see him for the jerk that he is. I think even he got tired of the pretense of being married to someone his parents chose, and that was the real reason he went to the haveli anyway. What can you say about a guy whose own father doesn't trust him with his wife? And then when someone tries to get physical on the road with Kumud, he runs off like a loser. That would have been acceptable for Sid, not a grown man like him. 😃

I know right? I mean, can you imagine how bad it would be if Pramad is such an awful husband what kind of father he would make? A drunk and a gambler who doesn't earn a single penny for his own family.

Yes, her refusal to teach Pramad any values and respect for women shows exactly how great a mother she was.

I think SD is actually worse than most of the doting Moms out there who are so blinded by love for their sons that they can't see any wrongdoing on their part. SD was a Mom who instead of comforting and guiding her young son left that job to the household servants daughter. She allowed the closeness between Pramad and Kalika to develop and then turned a blind eye to it. A woman like that who is so weak herself could never understand or appreciate the strength that Kumud stood for. The crazy part was that even after hearing that Pramad tried to kill Kumud she's shocked that Kumud wants a divorce. This woman will only reform on the day that Pramad himself admits his guilt or he does something to hurt her personally otherwise there will always be some excuse that she'll make for his behaviour.

Even Kumud said that the ribbon of motherhood can only be removed if someone would remove it but nobody has done it yet.

SB is the worst bottom feeder here. Worse even than Pramad. She is the reason that he is as bad as he is today. She was a lousy Mother who only ever ENABLED her son's bad behaviour. Such mothers are a bane to society. They produce offspring that are a threat to people and their wellbeing!

If Pramad had EVER been held accountable for his behaviour then this would NOT be happening right now!! In this sense I blame BD too. HE should have known better than to sacrifice Alak to save Pramad. JAIL is what this guy deserves!

SB...I hope she ROTS!! There has to be a limit to being a selfish cow who only thinks of her son!! She disgusts me!!
