I have never seen a show with so many negative characters like QH. It feels like all of the characters are destined to live an unhappy life. Usually, you will see the main leads having to fight to be together with some villain, in this case everyone is unhappy: Asad-Forced Zoya to go live with Ayan, had to choose between Nikhat's life and his own
Zoya-Forced to stay in a house for the sake of someone else's marriage, which is going to lead to disaster.
Dilshad-Still loves Rashid and forced to live without him.
Shireen-Living in fear that her husband may go back to Dilshad
Rashid-Loves Dilshad but forced to stay with Shireen
Ayan-Made a mistake, and had to sacrifice for Nikhat
Humaira-Forced to watch Ayan stay with Zoya as a married couple
Najma-Living with the devil, Haseena
Nikhat-Apparently will never see happiness
Razia-living in fear that the truth about Zoya will come out
Siddiqui-Always thinking about his lost daughter
Wonder what they have in store for Nuzat...can't be anything good, as they are determined to show, happiness does not exist in QH.
When things actually go right, like Najma marrying Imran or Nikhat's wedding taking place to Farhan, its still not actually a good thing-they are now Doomed for Unhappiness!!
The one credit I will give to QH is that they make some Great Dream Sequences...you can feel the Passion through the TV screen! Shortlived as it may be but it keeps us excited for a bit!
Sorry, for the long post-I was just thinking how there is not a single person who is shown to be happy in QH, Tanveer comes close.
