I am loving the pace of the serial, rarely kahin gadi atakti hai iski! I did miss Jalal though, was happy to see him talking in the precap and that too supporting Jodha. They built up the drama yesterday by showing that Jodha's treatment had a negative effect. If not for that we would have not gotten to see Hamida's divine pure soul. In such dire circumstances when her only son was in death bed, we saw her unwavering support for Jodha. She commands Jodha to follow her order as she knew it was not the time to be emotional like Jodha who wanted to stay there else people would think she was the culprit. I repeat again Jalal is so like Hamida, they are practical but understand peoples emotions really well. She knew where Jodha was coming from, but she also knew that Jodha's life was in danger till Jalal recovered. Kudos to CVs for giving us such wonderful strong characters!
The whole atmosphere in harem was depressing. The ladies would deck themselves in jewels and gordy clothes as long as their shauher was salamat. But the moment their shauhar's life was in danger it was Johar for hindu ladies and poison for Muslim women. Ruqu wants to be the first one to take the poison, her reasoning was so vain just like her. Ruqu, keep gloating for few more days. All your pride is only because Jalal gives importance only to you, thats the only special thing about you. The moment this equation changes as Jalal falls in love with Jodha, your whole existence will be shaken. In a way this might help Ruqu to find her real qualities rather than only gloat that she is mallikai-khaas!
Adham and Sharifudin plot together to share the hindustan ki gaddi. Jalal has so many enemies right under his empire and these are people who are so close to him. He is right when he told Jodha that everyone is scared of him and hence is able to survive as a ruler. That fear is ofcourse because Jalal is a brave soldier. He will soon realize that his power as a ruler will increase when people are with him because they love him not because they are scared of him. The honors of this realization will be done by none other than Jodha. How filmy it was when they show Jodha praying and hakim escaping? We do enjoy those ghita pita over used scenes. The hakim then comes and confirms that Jodha's medicine saved Jalal. The icing on the cake was that Jodha learnt that from the famous hakim and followed it to the core. We had been hoping/demanding that some changes in Jodha be shown. We see a first glimpse when she understands what Jalal was silently trying to say. A huge slap on Ruqu's face who says she understands Jalal the best. I guess Jalal ko dil se pyaas lagi thi, dimag se nahin and hence Ruqu failed.
Jodha recollecting Jalal's teaching her how to pray, that scene was so beautiful. Jodha for a moment forgets who is in the room and is lost in her memories. We see her pray the way Jalal had taught her. Hamida is amazed at this change in her bahu and is even more ecstatic when she finds out that Jodha learnt it from Jalal. You see Hamida, till Jodha does not forget her ghrina word she has a lot to learn from Jalal. But, the moment that word is out of her dictionary she will do wonders to Jalal's soul. She even shares with her ammijaan how Jalal was lost in khuda ki bandagi and that she saw a heart beat in him. Jodha will never believe Jalal when he claims that he has no heart. And like Vicky pointed out, Jalal will never believe Jodha if she uses the ghrina word on him! Ajmer trip confirmed it or made it happen you see!
Precap: Jalal's favorite conversation with Ruqu, talking about Jodha ofcourse! Ruqu again tries to bad mouth Jodha, but Jalal just like his mom is unshaken about what Jodha is made of! I feel he is just being sarcastic about the punishment.
