We all have that ONE friend in our lives who knows us inside out, plays pranks on us, laughs with us, smiles with us, shares our happiness, dances with us in our joyous times, becomes a pillar of strength in our troubled times, fights with us over silly things, guides us when we are wrong, supports us when the dark clouds of sadness looms over our heads, helps us out when we are confused, teases us when we confess to them about our crush/love, shares our sorrows when we face a break-up, fights with the whole world to protect us when we hit a rough patch, and sometimes also, includes the whole world when we break the news of us and our crush/love being in a relationship, gives us advice when we need it THE MOST! *phew* IN SHORT, PRACTICALLY lives our life along with their own!!
For me, the epitome of FRIENDSHIP has always been Jai-Veeru from SHOLAY! LIKE, THE ULTIMATE FRIENDSHIP WAALA COUPLE! Next to them *according to me* are ReYam & ShaRey! They DEFINE the DOSTII angle of D3.
Now since ReYam ki dostii ke baare main all of us are aware about, i'll shift my focus to ShaRey this time.
Rey and Sharon have been the ONLY CONSTANT thing/person in each other's life. Since they are childhood buddies, their bond of friendship and trust HAS TO BE STRONGER than all the friendships of D3 put together! Rey has seen Sharon's attitude, her anger, her love for Swayam, her fall, her rising-like-a-phoenix-from-ashes-to-life phase, her heartbreak, her pushing people *especially Swayam* away from her, her confusion regarding SwaRon status, her blushy-blushy times, her crying to sleep times... HELL, he even discovered her aasthma! And the same *almost* goes for Sharon's position in Rey's life!
Now, coming to the MAIN point *the reason y i'm posting this*... YESTERDAY'S SHAREY CONVO!
I really wanna applaud the CVs, the dialogue writers, the background score person, the editor, Palki Ma'am, even Amar Bhai and Vrushika for yesterday's scene, CORRECTION, MUCH-NEEDED SHAREY CONVO!
Like always, it was Rey who put sense *hopefully so* into Sharon's head regarding the Shivam-SwaRon topic. Just like the old times, Rey reminded Sharon *directly, as well as indirectly* Swayam's importance in her life... He did *indirectly as i said before* drop a HINT to her that Swayam WANTS Sharon TO TAKE AN INTIATIVE and he won't budge this time.
But SHARON IS SHARON. She won't budge. As usual, she'll expect Swayam to come to her. Well, BOTH SwaRon are correct at their own places, yet the other feels that they are wrong *Sharon feels Swayam is wrong & vice-versa*...
Nywys, m again deviating from my main topic- SHAREY!
Haan toh I was saying that... Rey UNDERSTANDS Sharon like no one else *this is PURELY on the basis of their friendship*, he's there when she's confused about Swayam, when she needs him to be her strength, when she needs to vent out her anger, when she needs to share her happiness, when she needs to cry, when she needs to defend Swayam against the world...
I agree to this part that too much of the same thing can turn out boring and harmful. YES, I'm referring to the Aditya Khurana track. But there, THIS WAS NEEDED. I accept that SS ne bahut se problems ke baad ek relationship main the/hain *dunno 4 dat*, but back then... Adi found out that Rey is a bit vulnerable and is prone to do things that might affect his friends- especially SwaRon *in a -ve way*, he KNEW that jab tak SwaRon, ESPECAILLY SWAYAM hain Rey ke saath, tab tak NO ONE, like NO ONE can mis-guide him. A chance encounter of getting to know about SS relationship *thru Rey* & getting to know that Sharon is Swayam's weak point, Adi struck the right chord by distancing SwaRon and making ShaRey come closer. Coz agar itna sab nahi hota, toh Rey kabhi bhi Adi ke haath nahi aata. And the whole point of AK's arrival was this only- TO MAKE THE GANG REALISE KI WORLD MAIN AKJAISE BAHUT SAARE LOG MILENGE; and also, HOW STRONG IS THE BOND OF TRUST AND FRIENDSHIP AMONGST THEM.
I was really wanting ki CVs aisa koi scene dikhaaye bwn ShaRey where they both discuss the present situation and how should they deal with it. To top it up, I would like to give a special vote of thanx to the dialogue writer who wrote such amazing dialogues for Amar Bhai & Vrushika. Both of them enacted their part extremely well *though in that "IT KILLS" waala dialogue, I felt Vrushi cud have done a TAD bit better (Shishir, pls don't kill me for this).*
As expected, the scenes started off wid Sharon reminiscing the past experiences *or nightmares, should I say* she n d gang have had wid Shivam and every dialogue, every fb used is like that stick used in a relay competition- carrying forward the whole with much-needed impactful dialogues, "Kismat se ladkar Swayam ne tumhe paya hain Sharon", "its funny ki tumne mere saath patch-up kar liya, par Swayam ke saath nahin", "maybe woh jaan-bujh ke badal gaya hain taaki tum usske kisi bhi move ko predict naa kar pao", "har din college aakar yeh pretend karna ki mere aur usske beech kuch nahi hain... IT KILLS", "Sharon kahin ek doosre ko manaate manaate itni der (late) na ho jaaye... and Sharon jab kismet rooth jaati hai na toh use manaana bahut difficult hota hai and that actually KILLS...Trust me apne personal experience se bol raha hoon."
KUDOS TO EVERYONE INCLUDED IN THAT SCENE... A HUGE STANDING OVATION FROM MY SIDE TO THE VRUSHIKA-AMAR, PALKI MA'AM!
