I don't recall the last time I made a post in this forum, but today, Haseena stooped to new levels, and I had to. I really hate that cow. But my complaint is not against her.
It's against Ayaan, Rashid, Shireen and Dadi.
It is bad enough that they created a culture in their house that made Nikaht feel so insecure, so inferior that she was ready to take her own life. A culture of marrying a girl off ASAP, to who ever will sell their son. They'll swallow their pride and the high price tag too, with their heads lowered, because after all their Nikhat has a defect...she's darker skinned than the rest of her siblings.
Funny though...last time I checked...skin color was something you were born with...you don't get to choose it like your hairstyle, your dress, or the color of your nail polish. I guess they know better than God.
But now...look at their silence in the way Najma was treated.
Ayan...
For someone who is ready in minutes to lodge complaints against Asad of partiality between sisters, I was surprised that Ayaan just stood there and watched Najma give her necklace to Nikhat.
He once said to Asad, that a brother could look at a sister's face and know what she's feeling. So was he blind to Najma's pain and her tears? I mean even Nikhat was shaking her head no, and kissed Najma's hand in gratefulness. But what happened to Ayaan? He's spoken out against Hassena for Nikhat, why didn't he say something for Najma?
Okay I understand that Nikhat is suicidal...but as a brother, he could have at least taken Najma aside and offered her thanks or some comforting words. Or if he was a complete duffer and didn't realize that something was amiss, he could have asked her what was wrong. Ugh!!

I just don't like this man...never have. He could have said 2 words to his daughter today. Beta how are you? You just got married. Are they treating you OK? He knows what kind of a woman Haseena is...he has had 2nd thoughts about Nikhat being wed into that house...so does Najma not matter? Yes Najma and Imran loved each other...but still as a father, he could have at least put his hand on his elder daughter's head. Double Ugh!!

I know she is stupid...sab kismat ki luck hai is mein kya shak hai. But does she even realize the extent to which Asad's family has sacrificed for her family time and time again? And as far as she's concerned that's okay, because only Asad has to prove that his love for her children is authentic enough. Well fine...I said she was stupid. But today she didn't even reply to Najma's salaam! Triple Ugh!
Dadi...
Does this woman even care for Asad and Najma? I have to wonder. Why is she pushing Zoya to act as Ayaan's wife? She does know that AsYa were about to get married right? Also, she was giving Haseena taanas about the small chain being given to Nikhat. But why no taana for what Haseena was doing to Najma. Even Razia was shaking her head at the obvious pig Haseena was being. But Dadi remained mum. Quadruple Ugh!
Or maybe I'm the one getting all hyped up about the way tamatar is being treated, for no reason.
But it hurts to see that whether the person in question is Najma, Zoya, or Nikhat...they are either taken advantage of or taken for granted... ...just because they are girls.
