Ayaan saying anything in this situation would have made Haseena torture Nikhat and Najma more. However, I do agree that Rashid as a father could have said something, because both are his daughters.
Actually I do remember Ayaan having a battle of words in the past with Haseena Bi, about being greedy and putting his sister down. It burned his blood every time she took out that color chart. And rightly so.
I can understand him remaining quiet right now, because Nikhat is suicidal, and he's being blamed for the accidental nikkah and what not...but what I'm saying is that as a brother, he could have taken Najma to one side and said...hey i know what you were forced to do...I'm sorry and thanks. I'm sure it would have meant the world to her. But he's only thinking of Nikhat. That
Nikhat should some how get married to Farhan. Even if it means his other sister has to hand over a necklace that holds a great deal of sentimental value to her. Oh and it's okay if his other brother hands over his bride to be (i.e. his life) to him...Everything is okay...as long as Nikhat gets married...I don't agree with that.
And it really upsets me when Ayaan says we are not 3 but 5 brothers and sisters...like the 5 fingers of one hand...Because quite frankly if that were the case...you make a fist and deal with the tyrants, not cut off 2 of your fingers. But then that's just my POV.
As for Imran...he never stood up for Nikhat because he never loved her...he said so himself. His attitude was very different for Najma.
And Farhan...for some reason the guy gives me the creeps. I mean why on earth would a guy agree to marry a girl who is in love with his brother, when there is no majboori or compulsion to do so?
Plus the girl tried to commit suicide...that would set off all sorts of bells and whistles in my head.
I hope I'm wrong, because I'd hate for Nikhat to be messed with any further..but both Imran and Farhan are Haseena Bi's sons. And we already know Imran has a past with Tanu. Who knows what skeletons will be popping out of Farhan's closet. 🤢
