IN Koffee with karan show they speak English only

Arent they allowed to speak HINDI

i mean hindi is india national languge isnt it well

Whole India watch KWK well not all indian in india can UNDERSTAND ENGLISH like some city in punjab or something

the SHOW KWK been start long time they only speak english

is HINDI banned or something

where they made KWK show is it In India or some foreign country

The thing is that KWK is telecast on Star World and is meant for people from the upper middle-class urban background. It is not targeted at the common man from Bhatinda, for example. The show has a niche audience, which is why they speak English. The same is true for Rendezvous With Simi Garewal as well
This season they are telecasting it simultaneously on Star World and Star One because of overseas viewers who do not get Star World.

what if actors want to speak hindi? will they allowed
them to speak hindi or will KWK only allowed to speak english

i had posted same topic before since i was also surprised to know i used to think it would be in hindi since it includes bollywood celebrities but then some kwk forum members explained it 😛

yeh...english is kinda better to use since not all of india knows hindi...and as a member before me has said, this show is targeted at a niche audience and stuff
