there is this sweet vulnerability about him...and I have never cried so much for any male character on television or even in movies (except for the old black & white Bollywood movies with Dilip Kumar and Raj Kapoor)...his feelings are strong, genuine, and extremely deep...and whatever he feels, I end up feeling the same with twice the force...

in some ways now to me he seems like a volcano...which hasn't erupted in ages but there is lava and fire seething deep within him...he is capable of so much and so much good now but in many ways his redemption has made him completely lacking in self awareness..

you pity a man with so many talents handing over the right to rule his life to others instead of himself...but that's what the mistakes he's made got him.

there is also a lot of innocence in him despite some of his wrongs...that innocence is beautiful, real and endearing...when he suffers , you just want to reach into the screen and soothe away his pain...and I feel at times he wears his heart on his sleeve but his family fails to notice it.

There is so much goodness about him that his family has still not acknowledged...I want to see Jagya in a place where he one day can say to himself that he is capable or good , and at that time I hope his family openly agrees with him...

He is so imperfect and so human...and that's very rare to see on Indian television...all that imperfection is extremely beautiful and alluring.

Jagya is loved firstly like A his behaviour & sufferings are attributed to child marriage. Secondly the humiliation & illtreatment he inflicted upon A was given back to him by his family perhaps in the same proportion. Thirdly though he married Gauri he felt the guilt of abandoning A. Finally the character is well enacted by Shashank also conditions are not applicable in love.

I love jagya it is a very real character and essayed brilliantly by one and only Shashank Vyas. I can say no other actor in television would have essayed the role as jagya so convincingly. There were several scenes which would not make sense in general but Shashank make them look real.
I always liked jagya like anandi from childhood. But after the leap they converted anandi into a crybaby. At the same time jagyas character was butchered. It is highly impossible for a kid like jagya to cheat anandi. But anyway cvs had to creat sympathy for anandi. But still Shashank portrayed it brilliantly. During that phase, I never hated jagya but use to feel sorry for his innocence. I feel his mistakes can be associated to his innocence and confused state of mind being exposed to a totally different culture at teenage. Jagya alone cannot be blamed for what happenned. Singh's as well as anandi are equally blamed of this. During the time with gauri, felt very bad for jagya. The pain he goes thru whenever he remembers his family. Whenever he gets the guilt of abandoning anandi. Perfectly portrayed. Also, after he came back from jaitser and see anandi with shiv, when his family rejects him etcetc... It was really painful to see jagya in pain. As others have said it, the only male actor who can make me cry apart from sr. Bacchan sir is Shashank. He is soo real and doesnot feel like a fictional character. Both the actor and character made it easy for audience to connect with anandi's pain and accept shiv. Now after becoming positive also he is portraying his character soo realistically and I also hope they don't mess with character much and give the important he and his character actually deserves. I want jagya to remain good and kind hearted, short tempered, human as he always been, but never wnat him to be mahaan like other characters.

today he cleared the air and confronted anandi sweetly but firmly.

the conversation between them is one of the best things in recent times. It is like between prosecution and defence.😆

For me i think thats because he didn't plan any of those mistakes with ill will except that short villainy period(and i don't accept that at all. I believe it was just to make some conservative ppl accept anandi's marriage with shiv easily). BTW I used to enjoy his band bajoying also. Every week ek slap hota tha during that mumbai track😆.

Also because shashank is a good actor. I saw him improve from not so good actor to a really good actor in BV. This is my 1st experience of this kind.
