Why Jagya is loved inspite of everything he did in the past?

Of course, I have a soft corner for him even if he would not look as good as Shashank.😉

Is it because he is Bhairon's son? of course, from my side. to some extent.

Is it because all his mistakes are unplanned and stupid?

Is it because he suffered even when he was supposed to be enjoying with Gauri?

Is it because we remember the little Jadya with fondness?

Is it because he now has become a more mature person, trying to please everybody, ready to sacrifice his own happiness for the sake of others?

Any other reason?

He is like the prodigal son. Yes he made some huge errors in judgement. Yes he had to walk through fire to realise the error of his ways. I have forgiven him. I want him to have a chance to be a better person. He s very human, wonderfully imperfect. Plus I like bad boys (joking) 😉

All of the reasons you have mentioned.
Those traces of little Jagya which you still see in him makes it difficult to hate him despite thoroughly disapproving his acts as an adult.
Love him or hate him you cannot ignore him.😆

Shashank does look a lot like that little fella who played chotu Jags and that's why it was easy to connect him to little Jags.😊

I don't know the reason why I liked jagya but I liked him a lot.
He did mistakes with stupidity not intentional.but I like his innocence even in stupidity.

If a person wants to change can't we give other chance? do we need to remember his mistakes life time. well i am not feeling to bash him forever even if he has been changed? and realized his mistakes, trying his level best to improve!!!!I don't feel to call him two timer when he himself doesn't know he is in love ..
imo his redemption part has pleased me so much compared to other shows.

Jagya has never been a coward. He is a go-getter. He went and got himself the wrong thing too at times coz at the time - he thought he wanted it.
But then - Jagya is a brave guy. He was never too shy to deny himself and later - never too proud to say - I messed up, i made a mistake, i'm sorry, please forgive me.

Jagya is above all - quite clear about his intentions. He says what is on his mind. And when he is in a dilemma - he always goes out to seek those he trusts and gets his doubts clarified.

That's why - its easy to like him. He is very human - very easy to understand and his heartfelt apology makes is impossible to not forgive him.
-----
I can relate to him.
-----------
As compared to some others - who either don't have the courage to tell themselves what they want, or haven't the single sense of purpose to follow their heart. They basically lack the courage to displease others. And in the process - will deny even themselves all sorts of things. And all that denial then makes them resent those who seem like they are not sacrificing anything.

I am not an Anandi type personality and so I am unable to understand her. I'm more Jagya type. I say what I want to and do what I want to. And if I make a mistake - I'm not too proud or ashamed to say I'm sorry.

So - yes - Jagya is a very lovable character and very close to my heart.

One more reason. Jagya was portrayed as a loser for most of the time. And we tend to love losers than successful people. It is a psychological thing.

Now Jagya is successfull professionally but his personal life is in a mess. I feel sorry for him while admiring his success.

His redemption may have convinced some people and some people it did not and they all are entitled to their views.
There are people who feel that he got away lot more easily then he deserved. If they feel that way it is their opinion.

Just because people criticise his acts it is not right to label them as haters of Jagya

One more thing criticism of a character and bashing are two different things.

He did wrong but he was never a bad persone, we always knew that one day he will realizd his fault, he felt guilty when he did somthing wrong (he didnt accepted it then), he accepted his parents punishment, he sufferd mentaly in that marriage with Gauri, no family no mothers love no one who think selflessly for him. He got a wife who always tried to compeet with him in everithing. so there was always A soft corner for Jagya in viewers mind, Gauri was not bad initialy but they made her bad and sanky only to prove Jagya's choice was wrong. M not totaly agained Gauri. But yes Jagya had always much chances for redeem as persone,
