Today, Saif Ali Khan, Riteish Deshmukh and Ram Kapoor start shooting for Humshakals, director Sajid Khan's most ambitious venture till date. And the reason why Sajid believes this film will prove to be a rib-tickling, funny movie is because there hasn't been a Bollywood film before where the three main men in the cast have had triple roles.
While Riteish has regularly featured in the comic genre, Ram hasn't done many such films. And, Saif returns to full-fledged comedy after over a decade. Joining the three actors are Tamannaah, Esha Gupta and Bipasha Basu. Beginning in England today, the month-long schedule will see the actors shooting extensively in the UK for the movie being mounted on a lavish scale.
The music is being composed by Himesh Reshammiya, who's giving a new sound to his creations.
Vashu Bhagnani, producer of the film, says, "With a strong ensemble cast and never-seen-before triple avatars each of Saif, Riteish and Ram, we hope that Sajid's Humshakals will be the most keenly awaited film of 2014. Our aim is to give the audiences a perfect summer holiday season entertainer."
On his part, Vijay Singh, CEO, Fox Star Studios, adds, "We're looking forward to an exciting partnership with Vashu Bhagnani. Sajid has put together an amazingly hilarious script that will keep the entire family in splits. I can't wait to see it on the big screen."
