Mandira Bedi stalked!

Mandira Bedi is being stalked! For the past year and a half now, she has been getting calls and SMSes from a man in Gurgaon, Delhi. In fact, Mandira has met him and has even got him picked up by the police. Yet, he continues to stalk her. "He calls me thrice a week. I changed my number but my old number still functions and all calls on that cell get diverted to the new one. I am informing everyone about my new number so that I can phase out the old one," she says. In the beginning, he would only send SMSes. After she complained to the cops, when she was in Delhi where he came to meet her at a function, he started leaving voicemails for her.
"He even came to see my play in Delhi. He has a crazed look in his eyes. I even recognise his voice. He is an idiot. Fortunately, he hasn't come to Mumbai, so I have to deal with him only twice a month when I travel to Delhi." Even her husband, film maker Raj Kaushal warned him. "He never took it seriously. It doesn't matter to him if I don't reply," she says. "Today, it is so easy to get a person's cell number. I get crank calls from wierd people daily and have a list of 30 'toavoid' numbers on the phone!" she says.
