Even though the show has ended for a while, one questions has always perplexed me.

Why did Shyam "love" Khushi? I think his obsession with her started when he saved her from the gundas. What exactly triggered his obsession?

Yeah, he got obsessed with her while staying around her coz she was beautiful. Maybe he was a nice guy earlier...just my assumption😆

She was beautiful and had a gorgeous figure. She was innocent, and sweet.

Khushi was beautiful and full of life, hence Shyam was obsessed with her.

Basically the leech "lusted" after her, and his over-headed obsession for her was sadly mistaken by him for "love".

There were often many moments in the show where a light breeze would blow ruffling his hair while he was busy staring at Khushi, or rather creeping us out with his slimy twitches and creepy stares.

"Aap sirf hamaari hai, Khushiji" he would yell time and again! And then, there were his obviously flop plans that brought our Arhi even closer!

In short, he was the most entertaining villain in the history of Indian Television. And IPKKND wouldn't be half as entertaining had it not been for him.

What made him attracted towards Khushi is something still left to decode, apart from the fact that it was in the script (and she was beautiful of course)!

Maybe it was because he had a great bank balance, thanks to Rani Sahiba, and in-laws ready to serve him at the drop of a hat, thanks to his slimy words, and all that was left was a girl in his life. And since he got the opportunity to save Khushi in full-on filmy style, he might have thought "Why not just try with her?" since no girl ever spared a look at him, except Anjali with her pooja-thalis!

But, sadly for him, his Lucknowi one-liners worked with Buaji instead!😆

Daiyya Ho! We miss IPKKND! We miss Shyam!
