Chapter 6 ::The Plan

That night priya couldn't sleep just thinking about one person "Ram" ……..

Next morning , priya got ready to leave , and when she opened up her purse she found the bangles that dadi and Krishna Kapoor gave her two days back. Her views got blured as she thought of returning them . she controlled her emotions , and got tensed why she is feeling so much for Ram and his family . She took the bangles and put them into her blazer pocket and walked out of the room. She was walking to the dine , where the elders and families were supposed to be . She has to give those back to the kapoors it were a gift from Ram's father to his would be wife . She suddenly stopped ,thinking of how she will face the elders. She took an u turn and walked back. She walked straight to the garden and sat on a bench there.

She sat there for almost 10-15 minutes , she was thinking how to give back the bangles. Her thoughts broke , as neha called her. Priya managed a smile and stood up . they wished each other, and then neha said that they were leaving the place with the kapoor seniors. Priya smiled and got tensed that how she will face dadi and Krishna kapoor and how they have reacted to the news broke by ram to them. She walked with neha to the gate , she saw Dadi standing with Ram and Krishna kapoor.

Priya smiled and touched the feet of the elders and then stood by shikha ji . Dadi , smiled and asked priya to drop a visit to kapoor mansion , when she will be having time out of her busy schedule. Dadi then appreciated priya for what she is doing for the elders , she wished that her g]\rand children could do the same in the future . Krishna kapoor came to priya and blessing her all the happiness in her life , she asked her to take care of herself and Ram . Priya got surprised and looked at Ram , because the elders behaved normal with her and when his mother said to take care of him too , she thought Ram lied to her.

Ram stepped to his family and asked vikram to take then to Mumbai and after dropping them at home as he has to go to the office directly . Ram looked at priya , who was definitely having many questions in her expressions . The elders left .

Ram walked to Priya , before he could give an explanation , priya asked him for an explanation .

" well …" Ram looked back , and he found Sudheer ji and shikha ji coming to them, he with a deep sigh said , " Priya , I have told them , but my dadi , she has already accepted you as her daughter in law . she is not even talking to me , since I had break the news , I am sorry … I know everything is going to be very awkward …" ram stopped as shikha ji and priya's father came there .

" priya what happened ?" Shikha ji asked …

" nothing darling , wo ..sayed Mr.kapoor ne aap sab ko bataya hoga …. About our relationship .." priya said …

" haan he said , that neither of you wanted to marry , but that only to me , and I think its true …." Shikha ji said …

" yes it is " priya replied … and her father left a deep sigh ….

" but have you said this to your family Ram ?" shikha ji asked ram … " tell me the truth not a story .." she added …

Ram looked at Priya and then to shikha ji and said , " No actually I have not , I wanted … but …" Ram stopped as priya intervened saying , " Darling papa .. I have to leave … and Mr.kapoor , I cant keep these with me , its from your father to his would be daughter in law , I cant keep these ..' Priya extended the bangles to him . Ram looked down and took the bangles from her , priya left immediately after that taking blessings from her father and darling . Ram saw her leaving the Swarg …..

Ram looked at shikha ji … and she said in return , " Sudheer ji , app ki damad ki brain thodi si kaam hain yeh toh pata tha , par itna bewakoof hain yeh pata ni tha …"

Sudheer looked at Ram , who looked at the bangles and said " yeh app hi rakh lijiye …"

" chup be…" shikha ji said , adding , " you have to marry her not me …"

' if she denies , then I will marry you only …" Ram smiled naughtily ….

' I don't want to marry such a duffer !!!' she said ….

' mein kya karoo , you have not said me , I mean we didn't planned to cover this up …." Ram pouted his lips like a little boy …

" So don't you have a presence of mind to handle the situation every thing has to be instructed to you !!!" Shikha ji scolded ram ….

" Priya , I mean , uske samne bolti bandh ho jati hain , then also I am trying to dominate her .. as you said …" Ram tried to defend …

" I don't know shikha , what you really want to do , I am with you , in this plan , but I don't know what you three are upto …." Sudheer ji said ….

" Sudheer ji , its for her good only and My Priya cant get such a darling .." She smiled at ram and he blushed at the same time . Sudheer ji went inside , to get ready to leave for Mumbai .

Ram wheeled Shikha ji to the bench and sat down with her . Shikha ji looked at ram and said that there plan will definitely fail , if he don't take precautions before executing plan . Ram looked sad , when shikha ji said that priya must be surely angry with him , after what happened . Shikha ji wished that if he could have resisted her from meeting the kapoor seniors. Ram promised that he will take care of the plan from next time as he cannot indulge the family in the plan.

" do one thing !!!" shikha ji said … adding , " tell your family and you and priya need some time to know each other so you two want to keep this secret from the world … that's a way to make priya believe that you are working to break your relationship else you know what I am trying to say , if your and her relatives comes to know then , it can be a blunder"

" but … abhi …" ram said helplessly …

' disaster management…. U know naa … drop her a sms … and tell her that you are sorry , and you need some time to handle your dadi , until then she has to wait … and n e thing else that can make her smile … and don't tell me that you can't make her smile , kal raat ko sab dekha hain meine …sun ni payi par dekha hain …"

Ram blushed and took out his phone and typed …

"priya , I am really sorry for what happened this morning. I promise I will

Time to handle my dadi and maa. I think you can spare me some days . Please.

Ram hit the send button , and in few seconds the delivery report came. Ram smiled nervously and informed shikha ji about the sms. Shikha ji took his phone and read it , she said that he should work on his manners to impress a girl. When the phone was buzzed with another message and accidentally , shikha ji opened it and after reading it she rolled her eyes over ram and said " are you ?"

" what !!" Ram took the phone from her hand and read the message from priya , she wrote ::

" Granted Mr.Kapoor , I have a bad habit to over react I am really sorry.

And … reading your compliments , I am really afraid that if you …

Ram looked here and there , to hide his red face , priya was joking with her , and the sms was read by his almost in law … he smiled awkwardly and then suddenly his phone buzzed again … he opened the second sms from priya ….

" I am really sorry to be mean Mr.Kapoor , but on a serious

"see see .. she has sms-ed again … I am not that yaar .." Ram showed the phone to Shikha Ji … She ruffled ram's hair and pulled his cheek as she laughed , ram smiled …

" but Ram , as I said you… don't forget … what I said you , she is a difficult person to handle , but I do believe you are the one for her … have you seen those box with mark " Fragile Handle with care." But my child is "broken , she needs Love' … and I trust you can give her that…" shikha ji wiped her tears …

' hey !!" Ram hugged Shikha Ji and added , " I told you yesterday , I will never let her cry .. I promise , I will keep her happy … I Love her , and will love her till the end …."

Shikha ji smiled , and kissed ram on his forehead , ram took her hand on his and kissed back. After an hour almost , Ram left the Swarg with kartik …. Shikha ji sat there and remembered what she and ram shared last night about priya .

Time revolves Back !!!

Shikha ji summoned Ram to her room . Ram was nervous , to talk with her , after priya's Mom , Shikha ji was everything for her , Ram was afraid , of being getting rejected by her. Before knocking at the door , he for the final time ironed his shirt with his hands , tucked it inside his trousers properly and brushed his hand through his almost properly set back brushed hair. He with much courage knocked at the door .

'Come in , its open " the voice gave him permit and which make his heart beat unbelievably faster , he has never felt so so nervous , not even during his first presentation , not even when he faced sudheer ji , is it the love that he found in priya made him feel so nervous ,or is he feeling nervous , afraid , because he don't want to loose priya , at any cost.

He stepped in . the elderly lady , kept the book aside , and looked at Ram from top to toe . Ram stood still looking directly on the floor.

"Sit.." she said , ram looked at the empty chair and sat there , almost without making a noise .

" what makes you so nervous ?" the lady asked . he nodded no to her ..

" don't you know to speak ?" she asked again … he nodded yes to her .

" hmm… so you have made a mind that you will not talk !! right !!!" as she gave a pause , he replied no nodding his head , the lady added , " arey , I am not going to eat you up so speak out beta …" this time the shy man looked up to the lady .

"wasie , when you were looking at priya , that time I read your eyes , your love for my little princess , sayed hi aur koi dekh paya , wo pagal ladki bhi nahi " Ram blushed this time … Shikha ji smiled and asked ram to sit by her . Ram obeyed.

" ram , I am too impressed by you , your family is wonderful your dadi , maa , every one is a sweetheart , but , I always wondered about you , but , after meeting you , though you have not spoke a single word till now ." she smiled , ram looked at her , Shikha ji continued , " But , please don't marry my daughter …"

Ram got shocked and looked at her , he spoke this time , " give me a chance I will not give you chance to complain … I love her …"

" I know , but … Priya , she loves you ?' the lady asked and ram had no answer to it …

" she don't …. She don't love you , rather , she has locked up her heart , she has forgot what is life , what is smile , what is love ?" the lady wiped out the lone tear from her eyes and added , " but when I saw you , the way you were stalking Priya all through … it was clear how much you feel for her …" ram looked up as the lady gave a pause , the lady smiled and asked , " are you thinking how I know, that you are stalking over her ? well I was stalking you , when you were stalking my girl." Ram got caught red handed , he smiled while she smiled ….

' but ..' ram started , " I will keep her happy , I will make her fall in love with me , I will make her smile , I promise …"

" I know , but , there is a but beta , priya … she has lost her mother when a girl needs her the most , unfortunately , mein ni reh payi… and them some thing really bad happened which , shouldn't have happened !! chodo , wo baat phir kavi hogi … but the important thing is , Priya !! kuch ni hain usmein , she has no feelings ,.." Shikha ji couldn't control her tears to flow out ….

" Hey !!! please don't cry …" Ram sat closer to the elderly lady …

"Ram … you are a good human being , a nice person and I know how much you will love her , but she will not love you back , can you take that ?" The lady asked him very seriously … Ram looked down , and with a sigh , he said , " No .. I cant take that , but , I can make her love me , that I can promise you … she will again live , she will smile that I can promise you …"

" from 18 , she is looking after business , she achieved what ever she wanted , from 22 , every boy , wanted to marry her , but they were behind her money …. Sab use mila , baas pyaar ni mila …." Shika ji was intervened by ram , who said , " mein use itna pyaar karunga , she will never complain , but please , mujhe usse dur jane ko ni kahiye !! please.." ram pleaded …

" door ni jayoge toh paas kaise ayoge …." The lady smiled looking at Ram , who gave back a confused look to her , she smiled caressing his head she said , " agar use itna hi pyar karte ho …." The lady looked sharply at him and said , " Then , first , make her feel that she loves you … samjhe …. She needs to feel the same Ram , what you felt , uspe koi decision thopa ni ja sakta , wo wahi karti hain , jo uska dil kehta hain , aur wo uss cheez ko behad nafrat karti hain …. Jo uspe thopa jata hai , jo uske deemag mein hota hain sirf …. Beta , conquer her heart not her mind …." The lady sighed .

It was a pure plan , between Ram and shikha ji to step back from the marriage , to test priya . A wild decision , taken by Ram and shikha ji , to make priya feel the same for him , though , shikha ji wondered if it will work or not , how it will work … will it have a positive effect on her or a negative one … But ram chalked a Plan , to step back from the marriage …. Shikha ji still wonders will the plan work or not !!!! but she trusts ram … she believes he will love her little princess till the end .

MUMBAI !!!

That after noon ,

After completing a queue of meeting , priya , got few hours to relax , she sat on the couch in her cabin. She has nothing to do that time , but she badly wanted to do something , she wanted to keep herself busy in assignments , that man is badly affecting her , she cant stop thinking about him , she called in her P.A and asked if any meeting can be proponed or not , she was informed that all the clients are busy .

Priya switched on the television , the business channel flashed with the sensex , and its recent trends the trend setters , the market player , the news-reader suddenly flashed with the news of down fall in the value of money , she was calling it a national threat , though a bless for the exporters . "Shit !!!" she said and switched off the television , because she saw the name of Kapoor industries on the list .

" every where you are following me !! shit !!!" priya said to herself … leaning back to the couch she closed her eyes .. and her thought went back to past …

Priya thought!!!!

"few years back , I was engaged . I was engaged to " Samir Malhotra" A decent guy from UK , I didn't wanted to get engaged but I have to , and then one day I caught him red handed , making out with another lady , probably his secretary , in his cabin , I called off the marriage , but I never felt so moved , like I am feeling now … but why ? I wanted him to call off the marriage and he did exactly what I wanted , but why I am not happy , why he is affecting so much , why I can't stop thinking about him , why ? why ? why ?"

She came out of her thoughts as there was a knock , she asked the visitor to come in … and to her surprise it was the man , about whom she was thinking about , Ram Kapoor asked if he can come in or not , Priya smiled and asked him to come in … and added if he was there to seek apology for the morning incident …

" may be .. i mean , no , i m not sorry for morning , why should I haan..." Ram said . When Priya looked at him annoyingly ram laughed then , he added , " No, actually i am here to say sorry ... but not like that ..."

" not like that..' she asked , Ram smiled and said , " but like that ... you know ... what i want to mean??" Priya looked at him ... with no expression on her face.

"don't be afraid .. I am here to take you for lunch !!! if you don't mind …." He said …. And added , " Apology .. if you come with me , I will .. I mean .. its … how I will say …. I mean I need your help …" Ram said

" help !!" she asked .

" yes .. I want to taste Italian food , and I really don't have any idea about it , there 's restaurant over here , I heard from kartik that you love Italian cuisine so if you will guide and help me … then … you know , it will be easy for me to choose the correct one for my taste buds .. so Lunch together , and accept it as my apology too…."

Ram waited for her answer … and after thinking for a while , she said " Okay …" with a smile added to it , " Apology accepted !!!" Ram smiled back and said , " THANK YOU ..."
