Hey Guys...I'm starting a new fan fic...i have read so many ff's that one idea just popped into my head... so here i am ...however..i know there are a lot of mistakes plz over look them
and do leave comments on how you all like it...😊
Intro of characters:
Jai Walia: an orphan, only family members he has is his masi. Jai is everyone's favorite, especially Bani's mother. He lives with Bani's family along with masi.
Bani Dixit: Jai Walia's best friend. Both grew up in the same house. Know each other inside out. Very short tempered.
Kiran Dixit: Bani's mother. She loves her daughter but she is more close to jai.
Nishikant Dixit: Bani's father. He was jai's father's best friend. When they died, jai was 4 years old; therefore he asked his widow masi for them to stay with them. Since then jai and his masi live in their house.
Dadi: Bani's dadi, typical kasamh se dadi...loves movies…
Billo masi: Jai's masi. She and Dadi are inseparable. They will always be found together.
Chacha (aditya): Nishikants younger brother, has 3 kids ranveer, Sahil and Anu
Cachi (Jigyasa): Aditya's wife. She loves her husnad to death but keeps arguing and bickering with him on small things. Nothin serious just her habbit. And in this ff Jigs is nice but very superstitious.
Any other characters I will mention as the ff continues.
Chapter 1:
It's Bani's 17th Birthday. In a week's time she is flying to New York for her further University studies. She is studying business financing as she wants to handle her father's business and let him retire at peace. Her family had planned a birthday/good bye party for her. Jai is also joining college next week but he will be staying in Mumbai for his studies. He loves Mumbai very much to be away from it for so many years. Jai has got Bani a picture of him and her at their graduating party (they went to the same school). He had the same one made for himself also. He had always loved Bani but never dared to say because he was not sure about her feelings for him. So he kept quiet. He didn't want to loose her friendship if she doesn't feel the same way. Jai had sleepless nights thinking how he will stay away from Bani so long. He convinced his heart out to her to study in Mumbai but to no avail. She was stuck to her plan on going to New York and she wasn't changing her mind.
Birthday preparations are in full swing. Bani cut her cake fed everyone and everyone fed her. It was her favorite chocolate cake with chocolate frosting. All her friends came to wish her good bye and they all danced and had fun till they were ready to drop. Jai was getting restless because he had planned a surprise for Bani on their terrace, No one new about this surprise except Jai and Kiran. Kiran knew that Jai loved Bani. She told him to confront her but he said he wants to wait for the right moment. She agreed and never pushed him to it again.
Party was still going on and Jai out of frustration grabbed Bani's hand and dragged her towards the terrace. While on their way,
Bani: Jai let go yaar, where are you taking me?
Jai: Don't question, just come along. You trust me right?
Bani smiled and nodded in affirmative. As they reached the terrace, it had a small table for two with few balloon and a simple decoration. Bani was all aww by the site, but knowing jai, she was expecting it but just went with the flow.
Jai: Bani I want you to spend your entire week with me before you go. I'm going to miss you Bani.
A single tear silently dropped down his cheek and he just hugged Bani really tight. Not wanting to let her go. Bani was also going to miss jai. After all he was her best friend. She also hugged him back with the same feeling.
Bani: you know Jai I'm also going to miss you. Promise to me, we will chat everyday and email regularly and every Sunday we will talk on phone.
Jai: Just looked at her with love and said, Bani please don't go.
Bani: Jai please don't ask me again, if you keep saying this I might not go but you know since I was small I always wanted to go to New York University.
Jai: in a whining tone said, I know. I was just trying. I'll not stop you anymore. Go and get your degree and I'll be waiting for you to join me in dad's business.
Jai called Bani's father dad and Bani's mother mom.
Bani smiled and hugged him again: Jai I will miss you the most.
This made jai's heart flutter, thinking does she have the same feelings for me? Then he just shrugged the thought of his mind and let go of the hug. He then presented her with the photo which he planned to gift her. The frame around that photo said, Best Friends For Ever.
As Bani opened her gift, she jumped and kissed jai on his cheek and said: Oh Jai I love it. I am sure this is the best present I got for my birthday. Jai you really know how to make simple moments so memorable. Bani started to cry and said I love you Jai! Your friendship is the most valuable thing in my life and I will not let go of it at any cost.
Jai was shocked. For a moment he thought Bani loved him too, but then she mentioned about friendship. Jai was confused as ever. He was thinking to himself, is this the right time? May be this is a cue. I should tell her my feelings before she goes. Jai is all set on telling Bani her feelings.
Jai: Bani I have something I wanted to tell you for a long time now.
Bani had question in her eyes and she listened to jai carefully.
Jai: I wanted to say is that, I uhh…just then,
Nishikant: There you are, I have been looking for you both the longest of while. Nishikant spoke as he came towards Jai and Bani.
Jai: Dad few minutes, I have to say something to Bani, he pleaded.
Nishikant: Arre beta you can talk anything after the guests have left; Bani beta your friends are leaving. They wanted to meet you before they left. Now go on both of you.
In all the talking Nishikant did not notice the little party jai had set up for Bani. He also followed them down to the party. The party ended with the last dance by dadi and masi doing, Shava Shava from Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham. Jai whistled his heart out, making his two favorite ladies blush like ever.
As the dance got over Bani came towards Jai and said, Jai I am tired, can we talk tomorrow.
Jai was glad because he wanted to confess in a better atmosphere.
Jai: Sure Bani, it wasn't anything important anyway.
With that Bani went up to her bedroom to catch the z's and everyone else retired into their own bedrooms.
