Why blame Lauren?

Hello everyone!

I am a very silent reader of this forum-as I am a huge shaan fan and love to know tidbits about him-but I also like to stay away from politics/bashing what happens on the forum.

Anyways,every week I come on the forum and read posts,but there is ALWAYS some post telling its unfair that lauren is a trained dancer and she should not have been bought in at all-its unfair to other yada yada-but my question is-isnt jhalak about celebs performing?

I am an avid viewer of dancing with the stars,the show JDJ is inspired from, and the "stars" can stand for anyone-dancer/singer/actor/cricketer/common man-anyone who has earned fame and i think Lauren certainly has earned it because of her incredible work in SYTYCD!

Last year,people bought the same blame on Isha,and the thought bugged me,and now again for lauren,and it still does!

I am not making this post as after shaan,lauren is my favorite, but how does being a dancer not make you a celeb? It does give you an edge on others, but it IS'NT unfair at all!

P.S.This is NOT a bashing thread!Just expressing my opinions! Sorry if this post has already being made!

The show's by line itself says: "Dancing with the Stars" , not "Learn Dance" "Become a dancer if you are a non dancer" .. So I simply don't understand people's hullaboo on "Lauren is a trained dancer, how is this fair? She shdn't be here, blah blah"

It's a celebrity dance show, where many f them know some forms of dance and many know nothing.. But no where does it say that Jhalak is a platform for non dancers or dancers, but only a platform whr Celebs/Stars dance..

Hence, such claims by "Some" people are totally baseless, with no logic at all!

P.S.- Thanks for making this post, and ur DP says u r a Abhiya fan! 😉 .. I'm one too 😊

My point exactly! Its the format of the show! I know she is an excellent dancer-but that does not make everything easier for her-she knows some dancing styles-not all,especially not the Indian ones,also the language barrier-so I think we should give her accolades for her hard work ⭐️

And what you said is totally true. Lauren has displayed and depicted so many forms on stage, including indian dances too which are but obviously so hard for her, and along with that she lip syncs the songs so well and it looks totally realistic..

She is an epitome of perfection and has proved herself, although people may have their own favorites and might not like some contestants but that doesn't mean they will put forward such insensible and baseless argument of the show not belonging to trained celebs, that actually makes me ROFL big time! 😆

Very well said! I'm so glad someone finally made this post!

Some 'fans' of other celebrity are blaming her because she is proving to be a threat to their favourites week after week.

I'm sure if she wasn't performing so well, people wouldn't care but she is giving amazing performances so they are getting insecure...

But it's better to ignore the whiners because there's no point stooping to their level...

Than why last year every one crying Isha Sherwani A to Z barking she must go out she is trained dancer and thats why she unable to get votes and color give her respectable exit before fainal now this time rule change? who know about Laurean khaan ki celebs hai who knows her before I am sorry about isha last now this i dont want any trained dancer and every one will see she get out by semi fainal Inshallah

First f all, I haven't been an ardent follower of Jhalak in the last season but I do know Isha is a great dancer and she was in the spotlight for her beautiful performances. So?

It's channel's fault if they cannot retain a celebrity on the basis of talent and not have their show running on the basis of "Dance" but "Popularity" ..

And I was never the one conducting parades or shouting slogans on eliminating Isha cuz she is a trained dancer or yada yada, so I'm in no circumstance answerable to the claims made by you!

AND as far as who knew Lauren before this?

Well, I did!

I did watch ABCD and Hell yeah! She was the soul and star of the movie!

I have also seen her in SYTYCD and yes, she was in the spotlight there too!!

So as a viewer, I'm pretty much aware of the entertainment industry and being a Journalism student, adds up to the awareness 😉

You didn't know her before Jhalak? Tht's your issue, but that doesn't make her a Non-Celeb or less deserving in the show!

It's a dance show involving celebs.. She's a Celeb and She Dances.. And not "just" dances, but dances on various forms and styles, that too "Perfectly" .. So who are We to raise questions?!

So, stop the pointless excuses and whining! Keep Calm and Watch the show!😛😉😆

I would just like to point out that if you look at this article, you'll see the pics in this article, you will see that everyone has extra help so blaming Lauren is pointless.
