While doing the summary, I realised something that had escaped all of us during the daily discussions. Umaben and Chhanchhan started off the week at opposite poles ... Chhanchhan blamed Mukut squarely for straying, and felt Kaumudi was blameless, while Umaben blamed Kaumudi for not keeping Mukut close to her, and felt that Mukut was not to blame. By the end of the week, they had both met halfway. Chhanchhan accepted that Kaumudi did share part of the blame, but so did Umaben! 😃 By making sure Kaumudi conformed to her picture of an ideal bahu, Umaben had left no time or space for her to be a good wife, the type of wife Mukut wanted. And Umaben accepted that she was wrong to shelter Mukut and blame Kaumudi completely, her son had strayed, and there was no getting away from that.
So both the ladies met halfway, and aided by Manav, decided on a two pronged approach to the problem - make Mukut see the error of his ways, and also effect a Kaumudi makeover.

Monday - saw two parallel conversations, Kaumudi-Chhanchhan and Manav- Mukut. While Kaumudi was upset about Mukut straying, her biggest fear was what would happen to her and her two girls. And Chhanchhan tried to impress on her the sanctity of the marriage bond, and reassure her that it could not be broken so easily.
On the other hand, Mukut described to a worried Manav why exactly he was unhappy in his marriage, the feeling of neglect by Kaumudi due to her domestic burdens, she had no time to spend just to enjoy common interests with him, or spend any time with him.

Tuesday - the showdown took place, Mukut's affair emerged in front of the entire family and Mukut was unapologetic. Manav and Chhanchhan, and the rest of the family were firmly on Kaumudi's side. Umaben was the only one who took Mukut's side and said that Kaumudi was to blame for not keeping her husband firmly in check, and in being a good daughter-in-law, she had failed to be a good wife. Hence it was all her fault.
Quite hypocritical coming from Umaben, considering that she said exactly the opposite for Chhanchhan! But there was some truth in what she said! 😛

So the family was divided for the first time ... Babuji, the younger three sons and all the bahus on Kaumudi's side, while Umaben sided with Mukut.
Also the only ChhanMan scene of the week ... A besotted Manav lost in praise of his sensible wife, and firmly believes she has the answer to all the problems after all! 😳

Wednesday - the family divide deepened, as Umaben stayed with Mukut, while the rest were with Kaumudi. The beginning of open rebellion in the family, as Manthan openly accused his mother of favoritism, while the other two sons and her own husband showed their disapproval of Umaben's decision.
So Chhanchhan takes matters into her hands and confronts Umaben - why is she letting the family fall apart? She must know that her decision is unpopular with everyone, she is being blinded by her maternal love and is not doing the right thing. Also Chhanchhan points out that if Kaumudi did fail as a wife, it was because she was too busy being the ideal bahu, as specified by Umaben. Besides if Kaumudi was an outsider, so had Umaben been an outsider when she entered the family, but today she was the central figure of the house. In other words, kyun ki saas bhi ka bhi bahu thi! 😆

But too late ... Kaumudi heard Umaben's words about Kaumudi being the outsider, and hence at fault, and decides to leave the house.
Manav, Chhanchhan and Manthan run frantically in search of her in all directions, Manav and Chhanchhan finally trace her at the bus stop and stop her.
Just in time for Umaben to appear, all reformed and ready to accept her fault! 😛

Thursday - seems that Chhanchhan's long lecture did have an effect. Umaben finally saw reason. Seeing her family falling apart, she accepted that Chhanchhan is right, and by covering Mukut's fault, and laying the blame on Kaumudi, she is doing the wrong thing. She is not being fair to Kaumudi, and will only succeed in breaking up the family. So she cajoles Kaumudi to come back home. Some nice dialogues there by Umaben - a son may be the heir, but it is the daughter-in-law who gives the family that heir. Hence the house is as much the bahu's as it is the son's.
Kaumudi returns, Mukut shows his relief but isn't ready to give up his Mayuri. Umaben decides she has to bring him back on track, Chhanchhan says she will help. The start of an unlikely alliance 😛
Umaben tries her methods, Chhanchhan cancels them. Chhanchhan proposes her method, Umaben is skeptical. Finally, aided by Manav, both decide to meet halfway, and have a two pronged approach - Mukut reformation and Kaumudi makeover.
Mukut reformation starts with Chhanchhan visiting Mayuri under pretense of supporting her, but actually trying to find some faults that she can point out to Mukut. That doesn't go too well, so she tries to scare her with horror stories about living in a joint family. That doesn't go too well either. 😕
And Kaumudi makeover starts with ... well, a makeover. 😛

Unluckily we are lacking cute & romantic ChhanMan scene like usually we get !😉* missing kises & their usual crave for each other*😳

but still we can't get anyone cuter & understanding like them 👏

Chhanchhan : mery pass har problem ka solution hai

Manav: tum nahii hoti to mai kiya kr raha hota m very lukcy😉

Chhanchhan : mjhy dhoond rahy hoty or kiya😉

& A hug 😃😃 & he also hold her face with his manly hands* dead*

When the whole Borisagar family finds out about Mokut's Mayuri, even though he confessed it by mistake..but it sure did give an heart attack to the family, who used to think there's no one like their Mokut 'beta.'

When Kaumudi leaves the house, Manthan taunts Mokut and favors Kaumudi. Mokut and Manthan get into an heated argument whenManav intervenes and calms them down.

it was when Sanjana comes to Manthan as he is drinking tea and talks about the days when they were newly married and used to go out and then how they shared food and refreshments. He says it was cz things r expensive and at home as things come free to let him have his own tea. But by the time he left the tea unattended while talking to Kaumadi bhabhi and turn around Sanajana is drinking the tea!!

The scene where Mukut explains all the good qualities of Mayuri to the whole family while he knew his wife was standing just there listening and crying over everything he told. That level of insensitivity seriously irritating!

Obviously starts of the week are none other CC and Ub...

CC and manav witness Mukut with some other woman on interoogatin find out that mukut has a affair with some other woman...

CC gathered courage and made sure Ub knws abt it..

The entire family was grief struck adn was broken..

She made sure she gives thm courage to face the famiuly..she first gave courage to Kaumudi..

Then yesterday we saw the way she stood with UB and stood with her in adverse times..

She has planned with UB to make Kaumathy modern the same way Mayuri is make sure mukut comes back to her...

Sure shot she will succeedd..

Well after what she did by taking off to the mahila mandal to organize a mukti murja to do nari baazi in front of the house of a woman having an affair with a married man! This was a thing that should have says within the family to be sorted out carefully and not have been divulged to the outsiders at any cost!

Well, its none other than our dear CC. She told Kaumudi to trust herself and show her importance to Mokut, and then joined hands with UB for mission Kaumudi.

Shatir dimaag for this week goes to again our chhanchhan.It is in indeed an positive way.The way she is planning to bring kamoudi back in mukut's life by giving her a make over and meeting mayuri and observing her. she is using her hsrap brain to bring back kamoudi's happines...

ROMANCE!! Its NOT enough! We NEED MORE! Seriously there is a serious drought of ChanMan scenes this week!
That cute hug as they teased each other on Tuesday and then the shared cutesy scene with UB on Thursday was all there was! We really really need a few more.. Just regular scenes at the end of a tiring day when they retreat to their bedroom and cuddle up and sleep would be enough.. Or waking up together.. something... small private day to day moments...but keep up that cozy intimacy of the first few weeks u guys showed to us.

Other thing, well slow down a little bit please! Not too much, but just a teeny bit so that some serious emotions have time to sink in to our minds and to connect before its moved on to the next level..
Otherwise it was ok..
But won't say a fabulous week like last week though simply cz of the huge lack of ChanMan moments.

This week was full of drama.Firstly chhanchhan manav coming to know about mukut's affair with mayuri and then kamoudi knowing about it from listining to thier conversation and telling mukut that she knows about mayuri.mukut himself telling family about his affair.Uma ben joining hands with chhanchhan to bring mukut back to kamoudi soo this week was just perfect i will rate this week

9.5/10😳
