Actress Sayantani Ghosh, aka Kakul, and Ujwal Rana, aka Samman, in Ghar Ek Sapna had a tough time shooting a dream wedding sequence in the show. Both the actors shot in ankle-deep water continuously for nine hours. As a result, Sayantani ended up suffering from severe body ache. Sayantani recalls, "It was a dream wedding sequence, shot in a pool of water. We were supposed to take the saat phere in water. We started shooting at around 10.30 pm and finished by 7 am. It was really difficult. I was shivering, standing barefoot in the ice-cold water. However, we had no option but to complete the sequence." Sayantani says, "I was wearing a heavy wedding sari. And since we were shooting in ankle-deep water, my sari got drenched and became heavier. Moreover, during the break, we were not allowed to go to the make-up van as it would spoil the continuity of the scene. Later I had severe body ache and my feet were almost numb." Actor Ujwal Rana says, "I know, it was a pain shooting the whole sequence. But I am happy that everything turned out well finally." |
