Hello everyone it is I, Sonu, again with her rant and new topics lol...I feel this way the forum sort of oils its gears and of course opinions are always welcome here...😃
Rahukaal's character is shaped to be such of a powerful, evil Satin or a hindi version "Yamraaj"...The beginning of the show showed promise where we saw such an entrance of the three characters including our own Rahukaal...As the show went along we saw Rahukaal's obsession for Savitri and what he did or tried to get her...Towards the end we mostly saw his love/lust for Damayanti more than his powers and what in the pure sense Rahukaal is capable of doing...Even though half his body was missing but I think the CVs could have shown more power from Rahu's side...Enough said about that since the old story is behind us now, I would like to share a point i felt could show some sparks in the story, literally..! 😃
I personally feel that I do not want to see Rahukaal as a mere "Majnu-lover" again...let me explain that little phrase I came up with...I have seen many serials where either the main lead or the main antagonist [villan] is this all poweful, super strong, [wont say macho necessarily] damdaar character who is fearless of anyone, has his own way, own style, own charm so to speak until BAAAM: he falls in love...Love is such a beautiful feeling but in the process, the CVs manage to kill the character [or at least kill the main aspects of its existence]
We then see the main lead or villan change in such ways which resembles a "Majnu-lover" who is helpless in front of his love and just stays there but does not do anything except for chant on about his love...
I hopeee and dearly pray that this revamped version manages to show what Rahukaal is all about and if Gullika gives Rahu that ring, he should fire with revenge and put all his might into troubling the main couple...I am not being biast here but if you will put such a dymanic character in the story, it is better if you use him like one...
If anyone's seen RA-ONE of Sharukh Khan's, the villan was more powerful than the good guy yet the good guy won...so it does not mean the good guy will b better than the villan...chances are the villan will b better than the good guy but when a good fight is given then even the villan is commended...😊
Soo to summarize my rant lol: Use Rahukaal as a Rahukaal and show people that he has the potential to not just b obsessed over a girl but also knows how to utilize his talent when needed...😊
