despite the fact simran has always been portrayed a just , and strong character, aperson who goes out of her way to help others, she was to quite an extent responsible for neha's anguish in her last days. she only made abhi marry neha to get her father off her back who despised abhi.
then she would be there for abhi knowing or unknowingly but subconsciously always wanting to be near him. so in my opinion if simran sits down with astha and explains her life and also confesses she was to an extent responsible for nehas unhappiness and asks her forgiveness ,,,, maybe they may come to terms with their lives

I'm not sure Astha is very reasonable and mature at all !She will not forgive Simran at all unless her mother's diary reveals something in the end of the diary. That how Neha's feelings had changed towards Simran.
She seems so gullible and head strong , and the type of character who will beleive anything negative more easily than postive .So i doubt that sitting and talking to her will work . But yes Simran should stop lieng to protect her ....like when she lied about whose idea it was to live in Abhi's parents house . She has to become "satya wadi" that may help in the long run ! Even if it hurts bechari Astha behanji ! 😆

lubie- I totally agree with you. Simran should explain everything to Astha and the mistakes she did. Probably Manas's entry would open the doors for such things.
