Best scene of the Week
By: Disha
Although, the two steaming hot shirtless Jalal scenes was all everyone could talk about this week (kill me now *blush* ☺️) and kept everyone craving for more, the one scene which simply stood out and arguably was the turning point in the story.
Jalal goes against his beloved Khan baaba's decision and pardons the hindu rajput king,on account that he had saved Humayan's life.
It left Bairam Khan shocked, because, after all these years of controlling Jalal's decisions,he wouldn't have even dreamt that a day like this would come.
This was probably the first instance when Jalal took a wise decision all by himself, without being emotional about his khan baaba and how much it would hurt him,if he went against him.
The scene had some pretty amazing dialogues (kudos to the dialogue writers) and ofcourse some excellent acting by the actors (bairu changed his monotonous expression for once!yayyy :P)
The argument the rajput king very rightly made that,if "death in return for a death" is justified, then so must "life in return for a life".
"Jaan ke badle jaan, aur zindagi ke badle zindagi"
The rajput king had given shelter to Jalal's father,Humayan, when he lost the war against sher shah suri,so Jalal, obviously had to be indebted by the rajput king's deed.
Hence, although, that king was accused of killing Bairam Khan's relatives,he let go of the king, since he believed that if did not do that,it would seem as though he had no respect for his father.
The rajput king had saved his father, the baadshah.
"Inhone humaare waalid, humaare baadshah ki jaan bachaayi hai"
When Jalal gave his decision of freeing the king,he was firm, zero hesitation.
Ofcourse,he did say "humein maaf kardo khan baaba".But it didn't regret his decision.
His father was of utmost importance afterall.
The rajput king then made a very meaningful statement
"Baadshah ka baap,ek baadhshah hi hota hai,ek wazeer nahi"
Which meant that the father of an emperor,is an emperor, not a minister.
This marked the transition of Jalal to Akbar.
Akbar, the great,we heard about. The wise and just emperor.

She is deeply hurt and questions her mother, enquires the reason which spoilt her reputation in front of her brother and father. Finally her mother relents and tells her about the prophecy by Shagunibai. Jodha assures her that she will prefer death and wont ever go to the Mughal's house as she is a true Rajputani.

Jalal is shown entering Ruqaiya's chamber. He was impatiently waiting for her,but she was nowhere to be seen.He is seen walking around the chamber,he finally picks up some beverage for himself and then lyes down on the bed.
*He was seen in the light blue sherwaani. His hair the usual fluffy "hawaa mein udta jaaye" thingy isssh!this handsome munda! *
After sometimes Ruqaiya arrives with a plate of food and some beverages in her hand.
She smiles at Jalal as she enters. She then adds some toppings to the beverages.
Meanwhile,Jalal questions her about her whereabouts in a very 'nok-jhok' kinda tone *It was so cute! *
He tells her he had been waitinf for her sicne what seemed like eternity
Ruqaiya simply giggles it off.She looks up at him, only to see his feet on the bed.
She tells him, that no matter how great a baadshah he is,he still behaves like a 'bandar'.
Like how all lovers have their sweet silly fights,Jalal and Ruqaiya have a fight too.* adorable they looked <3 *
She then orders him to keep his foot down, since he was wearing his shoes in a 'singsong' tone.Jalal looks at her for a while, then,so as to tease her,he rubs his foot repeatedly (along with the shoe) against the bedsheet. He was amused looking at her,she seemed irritated.
Both of them keep fighting like how they did when they were kids.

Costume of the Week
By: Andy_Loves_ASYA
The costume of the week was obvious! Why always go "aww" and "ooh" at the costumes of the Rajkumari's when we have a warrior in shining glamour here! This costume was so far the brightest Our Jalaal has worn. The colour Sky blue adds a hint of sweet and smooth emotions. It shows off Rajats amazing posture and body. Jalaal was looking really handsome in this attire. The cream colored over piece really matches well with the blue part. The necklace is also a nice touch. Personally I found Jalaal looking more handsome, Kind and warm person, rather than the Shahenshah people say has no heart. :)
Blooper of the Week
By: Amor.(Khushi)
The shinning white canvas paper used for the portraits is the blooper, such f9 paper quality in that era is l'il unbelivable.
