I love your rants Bri. TBH the CE music is not something I would download and listen in a hurry. But I can tolerate during the film. The Ready Steady Po song was the worst.

i remember G3 came with action replay, the music was heavily promoted for this movie. both movies had music by pritam, tho many thought it was action replay that had better music , but for me it was G3, with just 3 songs the music won. say quality over quantity.

but why srk and rohit didn't go with pritam for CE? i take pritam over vs any given day!

Yes G3 songs were good but nothing over the top... for some days/few times only occasionally... But singham and other movie songs are so hell annoying 👎🏼 and action reply 🤣

I agree..I don't like any of the songs ..I kind of like 1 2 3 4 song or whatever it's called but the video sucks!

I hated Don songs too.

Rohit Shetty's movies music always suck.Chennai Express is no different. The trailer looks so promising though so I still have hopes from Chennai Express

I agree. CE music is a letdown. VS screwed up for this one..I think it's South flavor ended up being too out of their taste and they didn't really know what to do with it. The whole energy is missing. Maybe a Southern music director would have been better. It sounds a little better than the first time I heard it but yeah...I wouldn't play any of these songs except perhaps Titli again. Also, the choreography is bad. Maybe they will be acceptable in the film though.

Rohit clearly doesn't have an ear for music but SRK does..I guess this is why there were rumors that SRK wasn't happy with the music...and he was trying to rope in Honey Singh and others for more promotional songs.

^ If what you're saying is true I can understand why SRK wasn't happy with CE music. It's blah except for Titli. Choco's right, it would have been better had they roped in some south music director if they wanted south flavour in the album

I'm not a fan of the songs either. Disappointed 🥱. The song views in YouTube are also suprisingly low for a SRK film.
